Which Minor Works Protagonist Are You?

Which Minor Works Protagonist Are You?

(Yeah, it's the evil twin of Surviving the Minor Works. :p)

I'm . . .

TOM BOMBADIL (from The Adventures of Tom Bombadil) -- Hey derry dol, you're a merry old fellow, with your jacket of blue and your boots of yellow. You're also kind of annoying. But you are an enigmatic power, so you make for a good friend and a formidable enemy.
Me, kind of annoying?!

Formendacil 04-22-2006 02:17 AM

Niggle???

Niggle!!!

Diamond... if I wasn't half a sucker for these tests, I'd almost have to call me insulted. ;)

If wishes were stars

there'd be a bigger bang.

Fancy this for me!

Must have been all that cake. And, really, honest, I never say 'let them eat cake.'

I suppose I really ought to go and do Fordim's quizzes now.

narfforc 04-22-2006 08:35 AM

Leaf it out

I am Niggle, I half expected it to be so. Having spent the last two years writing The Lord of the Grins, I find myself constantly going back over it and revising, in exactly the same way Tolkien did with his copy of my book.

Meela 04-22-2006 09:06 AM

Smith of Wooton Major, from Smith of Wooton Major. I'm looking forward to saying that to random people twenty times a day.

FARMER GILES OF HAM (from Farmer Giles of Ham) -- You're the salt of the earth, a gruff farmer who rises beyond your station through luck and cunning. You are an unlikely hero but a force to be reckoned with.
Sadly I haven't read this yet though.

ROVERANDOM (from Roverandom) -- You're young, adventurous, spunky, and gosh darn cute. Your cheeky behavior has gotten you into trouble but with a little help from your friends you find your way to a comfortable home eventually.
:D Again, with the cheeky. I've never read Roverandum, but I think this result is quite accurate.

Lalaith 04-22-2006 10:46 AM

The only minor works I've read are Leaf by Niggle and Farmer Giles, years and years ago. So I've no idea whether it is good or bad to find out you are Mr Bliss.

Niggl'am I. Almost forgot about that little story. But yes, I agree, I find it difficult to finish thi-

Shiny!

Celuien 04-22-2006 03:03 PM

I am Smith of Wooton Major. Now to read it. I'm so far behind on my list of things to do. :(

dancing spawn of ungoliant 04-22-2006 03:09 PM

I... I got Farmer Giles of Ham!

Seriously, a gruff farmer?

There was one question where I couldn't really decide between two options, and on the second time when I picked the other answer, I got Smith of Wooton Major that describes me a bit better, I hope...
But still, Farmer Giles of Ham? *shakes head*

(I haven't read either of those stories yet, so I'm going on just based on the test's descriptions.)

Eomer of the Rohirrim 04-22-2006 03:27 PM

I'm Smith. A dreamer, a gentle soul. Yes, yes, we all know. :D

I'm strangely pleased about that. :D

Feanor of the Peredhil 04-23-2006 06:52 AM

I'm also Smith. I'm surprised I wasn't defaulted with someone more "cheeky" or spunky, but the result actually fits well.

Meh. That sounds right. :D

Now get off my land! *shakes pitchfork*

Diamond18 04-23-2006 12:21 PM

So far it would seem that Oddwen and I are the only Roverandoms. :D

Lalaith 04-23-2006 12:26 PM

And I am the only Mr Bliss. Who IS Mr Bliss?

Diamond18 04-23-2006 01:08 PM

He's the man in the picture that went with your result, silly Lalaith. :p

See Here.

Lalaith 04-23-2006 01:28 PM

Big hats, bad driving record...hmmm.... :smokin:

12 other people got this result!
This quiz has been taken 38 times.
32% of people had this result.

As if I'm surprised.... :)

Encaitare 04-24-2006 07:30 PM

Mr. Bliss? I've never even heard of him. :(

*looks it up* Teehee, seems kinda cute.

Nice. :)

Doesn't Wootton have two Ts?

Gruff? Moi? En vérité c'est pas possible!... When delicacy is my middle name? And yet, and yet... m-mm, lemme see... maybe, may well be, even is so.... especially when they [try to, most likely in vain] rouse me in the morning... but ain't farmer supposed to be an early riser?.... well, every rule must have an exception, so that makes sense, I suppose... or does it?...'Salt of the earth' - did you just call me dirt, mate?... it is a compliment? Is it?...

Well, cutting out dramatics, can't tell I did expect this, but can't tell I'm displeased with the result either. Only me and my Queen Agatha shall have to exercise more to stay fit these days when solidity is often mistaken for friability...
