So I'm Frodo...

Odd, I was totally expecting to get Merry... book Merry, that is.

So, is there a connection between getting Saruman and getting Frodo? I'm curious to see what the other Sarumans get...

There seems to be one, Formendacil.... I also got Saruman and Frodo.

I was actually hoping for Good ol' Bilbo, but Frodo is not too bad... as long as it is book Frodo.

Formen - I got a Saruman/Frodo combo also. The description for Frodo fits me a lot better than the one for Saruman, though... and I already knew that I am a lot like Frodo, with some traits of Merry. Most personality quizzes peg me at Frodo.

Im very Pippinish, but more serious and most of us Id say would have more of a clue to whats going on if we were in the Fellowship. o_0 So that makes me a Merry. Id definatly push Legolas off a hill once and bug the crap out of Gandalf asking about the Entwives, his other wizard friends, and the Valar of course. ;)

I was Meriadoc and so the first Merry-Saruman? Did they bond over that bag of pipeweed. I was surprised I came out as being so sociable - but then I guess that when they asked about Friday nights out with friends they didn't mean being on MSN messenger in a cyber cafe? :p

Mith - I'm also a Merry-Saruman, and was equally surprised by my high sociability. I mean, what sort of person tries to weed their way out of going to a concert? I think it was probably the cake question that did it...

So, I'll leave it to somebody else to compile a list of the Baddie-Hobbit combos and see which ones are most prominent.

So...I'm a Sam/Shelob. Does anyone else sense disaster here?

I just took both tests and I am a Shelob / Merry.

And, with the risk of sounding foolish... what is cupiditous? It must be something extremely dirty or violent cause it is not in my kiddy dictionary.

According to my dictionary it means being greedy for gain. Ah! That explains Lotho :D

I'm a Frodo. I was usually a Pippin on the Hobbit tests, but thinking about it, I am more like Frodo than I thought I was.

The percents are individual factors, not parts of a whole. They're meant to compare you to other people who have taken the test. Hence (to quote Oddwen's, the nearest at hand), "You scored higher than 25% on Sociable" - she's more social than 25% of people who had taken the quiz. I think it narrows it to people in your age group. So that's why the people who took the test first got all 99%'s.
