Where do you go to my lovely.

I am in the middle of moving to another house. I bought this property because it had a cellar. My present house doesn`t have enough room for all my Tolkien paraphenalia. So I am going to turn my cellar into Angband, quite the right place for a narfforc. I have a friend who has turned a lot of her house into the Rivendell from the films. Her long suffering husband happens to be a carpenter, and the results of his work are marvelously beautiful (thats the human half talking). Have you done or planning anything similar, does your house have a round green door or a tower out the back. If you had the choice what would you do to where you live

Nice topic! How about posting the links to pictures when you have it done?

There have been some Barrow-Downers intending to do Middle-earth decorating in the past. For their ideas, take a look at these threads:

Decorating Room
Decorating suggestions?
ME Decor?

It would be nice to see if any of those ideas have been done!

Next time I move house I'm hoping to create a Hobbit garden, which will involve turning the shed into a Hobbit Hole with a fake round door. There will also be a smoking bench outside, which is most important as I only have smoking chairs at the moment. :smokin: At present the shed is a fake beach hut which I do not want to alter, though the garden is stuffed full of Lobelia. ;)

My basement already looks sort of like Osgiliath, and my garden is doing a passable imitation of Mordor. I have a closet or two which are shockingly reminiscent of the mathom house in Michel Delving.
