Senior Favorites!

This is sort of like the Novice and Newcomer thread, "Alltime favorite characters." But, I intend this one to be more comedious. You remember the highschool years with those "senior favorites (Best looking, nicest eyes...etc) Well, here's my list, I hope to add yours, and if you have anymore "senior favorites" to add please do so.

Best Looking: Faramir and Galadriel

Nicest Eyes: Legolas and Arwen

Most Likely to commit suicide: I would say Denethor but he's already done it. So I will say, Elrond and Rosie (come on your husband left you for a man, and left you with 13 kids, that's got to be stressful).

Best Creature to ride: Ent

Cutest Couple: Eowyn and Faramir

Most Athletic: Boromir and Eowyn

Best Musically inclined: Tom Bombadil and Galadriel

Nicest Car(oops, I mean horse): Gandalf and Arwen (well it really was Glorfindel's horse, but oh well).

Nicest Hair: Legolas and Galadriel

Shyest: Gimli and dwarf women (They're too shy to even be mentioned in Tolkien, well except for Dis)

Most Manipulative: The Ring

Most likely to kill PJ because they got screwed when he made the movie: It was a tie between Eomer, Glorfindel, Haldir, Imrahil, Beregond, Ghan-Buri-Ghan, and The little hobbit uprisers during the Scouring.

Son of Númenor 11-01-2004 05:30 PM

Class of 3019

Most likely to make it to the prestigious Forlong 500 list: Sauron, for his (erm) drive to succeed.

Most likely to become a pot-smoking, tree-hugging hippy: Bombadillo. (That is, if he's willing to trade in his yellow boots for Birkenstocks.)

Firefoot 11-01-2004 05:37 PM

Quote:

Nicest Car(oops, I mean horse): Gandalf and Arwen (well it really was Glorfindel's horse, but oh well).
(Gollum voice) He's a liar, and a thief! A dirty, filthy thief!

You do mean Eomer's horse, of course, now don't you? ;) :D

Nicest Eyes: Frodo`s- They`re just so big and blue!

Most Athletic: Merry- Don`t know why.
Best Musically Inclined: Aragorn and Legolas- I mean, they made up Boromir`s death song right on the spot! Now that`s talent!
Nicest Horse: Shadowfax and Asfaloth
Nicest Hair: Arwen

Best Looking: Uh...Elrond. *ducks slaps*

Encaitare 11-01-2004 09:50 PM

Ah, how I would love next year to be named "Most Musical." Doubt it will happen, though. Oh well.

Can we have Sil characters as well? Because I do believe that Daeron and Maedhros deserve their credit as being the musical wonders they are supposed to be.

Let's see... what else...

Best Dressed: Galadriel and Gandalf the White

Most Likely to Succeed: Sam

Most Likely to be Committed to a Mental Institustion: Smeagol/Gollum

Most Likely to Do Time: Saruman, for destruction of public and private property (Isengard, the Shire)

Boromir88 11-02-2004 06:11 AM

Lol Numenor, thanks for adding in the yearbook, and the year ;) . The Forlong 500, I must say you are a very punny person lol.

Quote:

Best Creature to Ride: A Fell beast- covers great distances.
Nim, but an Ent is funner to ride, not to mention safer. I imagine you have to spend your time and money training to ride a fell beast, where an Ent just sits you on and goes, lol.

Firefoot, it'll go to a judges decision, since Arwen did steal that horse. You'll have to bring your argument up to the Board of Decision-making, because Firefoot did get a solid 3rd place  .

The Ka, I like the new ones you added in, valedictorian, debate team...etc.
Quote:

Most Outspoken: Boromir (that's a dead give-away.. )
It appears we have two punny people, lol.

Morgul, oh my, forgive me for forgetting about Gollum as the most atheltic! Little thing can fish, hunt, hide, fit into tiny over-head storage bins. Oh which reminds me.
Best Contortionist: Gollum (I just picture him as a flexible kind of guy) and Gondorian Soldier #316 in the movie, that got crushed by a troll club. (Now that is some really creepy contortion, to the point of just being down right wrong).
Quote:

Nicest Horse: Rohyryn. *watches movie fans go 'Who?!'*
Lol!

Oh Jeez, Saphire, I forgot about that long list of cut-outs myself. And with your last comment, I sit and wonder if I should be afraid, lol.

Encaitare, yes go ahead and add Sil people as well.

And if we can do Silm, then I'll add:

Most Manipulative: Glaurung

Most Intimidating: Ungoliant. *snicker*

Most Creative: Feanor

Most Likely to Make Stupid Oaths: The Sons of Feanor.

Oh dear... and here I thought that, having the day off, I could get out of my Yearbook horrors... (I'm helping with ours as Independent Study, which means one of my two weekly study halls gets devoted to actually making it to a class). And so, in honor of my class's superlatives (I'll admit to the lack of originality, but you must understand how my class works... they don't. ):

Best Hair: Arwen's redheaded hand-maiden in Rivendell (movie)
Best Eye[s]: Sauron
Most Likely To Succeed: Aragorn
Class Debators: (ME! and my "brother"): Boromir and any Elf
Most Talkative: Pippen
Most Dramatic: Denathor :p
Most Musical: I'll have to second Aragorn and Legolas. I love the death song.
Most Accessorized: any one of the Haradrim
Class Clown: Pip and Merry
Most Likely To Get Caught: Sauron
Most Athletic: the Rohirrim
Most Entertaining: Gollum
Most Mysterious: Glorfindel. *watches movie fans say "wha??"

AAAAUGH! IT'S AN UNCANONICALITY! There was only *one* red-haired elf, who, incidentally, didn't ever live in Rivendell.

One more for the Charge List. Take THAT, Peter Jackson! :p :p

Warning! Off-topic (slightly). When I first saw this thread I instantly thought it was something to do with 'senior' as in terms of age. Clicking onto the thread, looking forward to indulging my curmudgeonly side, I was confronted with quite the opposite and now I feel even more old... I am both embarrassed and amused.

But I get the idea, despite not having that kind of thing at my school. We simply finished our exams and got told never to darken their doors again... ;)

Head Boy - Faramir, an all-round good guy.
Head Girl - Arwen, such a nice well-behaved girl.
Most Delinquent Girl - Eowyn. Always refused to do her homework. Would rather spend time with all those long-haired layabout Rohirrim.
Best Nails - Saruman.
Best Footwear - Tom Bombadil, even though yellow wellingtons are against the dress code.
Most Detentions for Disobeying Dress Code - Aragorn.

Encaitare 11-02-2004 02:37 PM

Most Likely to Be Incestuous: Turin

Quote:

Most Mysterious: Glorfindel. *watches movie fans say "wha??"
I'm thinking Mr. Tom Bombadil would beat Glorfindel in being mysterious...

Class Clowns: Merry and Pippin

Best at Arts and Crafts: Feanor

Hot-Dog-Eating-Contest-Winner: Sam .. although perhaps that one's better suited to the "Who Would Win?" thread..

The Most Straight-Edge: Legolas -- because he says no to drugs :p

Elianna 11-02-2004 06:38 PM

Best Dressed: Tom Bombadil!

:p

Because we all know that Nerdanel, Maedhros, Amrod and Amras (still not entirely sure about Mahtan) are all one person.

Quote:

Most likely to marry above himself: Celeborn
Because we all know that the Prince of Doriath and Heir of Thingol who is the aknowledged King of All Beleriand by it's Native Residents (the Lindar) is far below the rank of an exiled cousin of a King of Murderers!

[/Fangirl Mode]

Warning: Poster Fangirls Celeborn, Thranduil, Denethor, Daeron and Celebrimbor. Please refrain from insulting or slighting these characters in posters presence as she can no longer afford her therepist's services.

*sweatdrop* ^^;; Heheh... Sorry, I haven't read Silm in forever. I just recall there only being a very few elven red-heads, and only one sprang to mind. *apologizes profusely* But, you can't argue that none of them were in Rivendell at the time of the War of the Ring.

Most likely to be glomped by 'Leny: Daeron, Pippin, Maglor, Tinfang Gelion, Smeagol

Nicest Horse: Surely Snowmane deserves at least a nomination!

His reason? They have the same brightly coloured yellow-clicking boots. That's enough for him.

Well, i might as well add some more:

Most Questionable: Smeagol!!!

Most Inclined to spend a night with a good O'pint: Merry (the ULTIMATE hobbit. he's my favorite!)

Most likely to end up in juvenile detention: Heh. Pippin

Our favorite anachronistic good-council giver: Gandalf...

Our favorite systematic race: Dwarves

Our most voted repetitive leader: Sauron

Beanamir of Gondor 11-04-2004 12:25 PM

aHEM. Nicest horses is Rohirrim . Hey, I can spell. :D

In our school we have this one called Most Accident Prone ,and that would most definitely be Frodo. I mean, for Yavanna's sake, every time somebody gets stabbed or punched or thrown or speared or attacked, it's Frodo!

Most Cowardly would also be Frodo. Whenever he does get stabbed, punched, thrown, speared, or attacked, he falls down, crawls backwards, and cries. Poor Frodo...

Looks Best in Leather is obviously Faramir, and half a dozen other really hot Gondorians (waaaaaay not including the guy they claim as Imrahil in ROTK movie).

Worst Hairdo , however, IS the guy that they claim to be Imrahil. Have you ever seen him? He leads the convoy carrying Faramir up Minas Tirith.

I changed my mind. Best Horse is Merry. Stybba is so cute in the movie.

Most Popular is definitely not Wormtongue. I would have to say Aragorn.

Duh.

Do not disturb the dragon Cech, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

hmm. No, Boromir wear's the colors of the Scorpio (red, black, silver, ect.) so in my opinion he is best in leather.

I would have to agree with you on the movie Imrahil... he also has a uni-brow problem. Also, in the book he's pretty passive towards everyone(one of the many fav's of Ka) not like in the movie were you are wondering when he is going to start kissing the ground Denethor walks' on... please

~Another Annoying Ka Post

Boromir88 11-04-2004 08:53 PM

Is movie Imrahil the guy that was like....

"It was as the lord Denethor predicted. Long has he foreseen this doom."

Then when Faramir comes up on a stretcher...

"Come....hurry."

Because if that's him, then I can't see how a man like Imrahil first off gets such a bad job, and I'll be slightly agitated because that guy is annoying.

He'd probably feed you to Thanduril. Or let Selene and Takua deal with ye. *grins evilly* Actually, what he said was "I can't believe one of our name-takers is a drooling fangirl". Thou hast brought shame upon us! Repent, and perhaps we shall take mercy upon thee!

Eh.... No... But, he would fly as one of those goth-wanna-be's ... That I would agree on. Grima cares too much about other's in a gossiping way... definately not a goth... Maybe a "Mopey goth" but, he would have to become a little more anti-social and passive.

Okay, perhaps goth was the wrong "label." Maybe he's more of an emo kid. ie: "This girl doesn't love me and now I have to go all evil and not bathe for weeks because I'm soooo sad about it! Waaaaaahhh!" :p
