scrambled tolkien

okay for this one ill simply throw a bunch of scrambled letters, you will unscramble them to try and get the right answer. Anything is up for grabs, people, places, things, from LOTR, sil...etc.

I will specifically say how many words it is and whether its a person, place, or thing, to make it a little easier and give you an idea of what to guess. I hope everyone else does the same to keep it going.

first one

eghvaresny (2 words, place).

NightKnight 07-14-2004 06:53 AM

Isn't this kinda the same as Silly Middle-Earth Anagrams?

wilwarin538 07-14-2004 07:14 AM

anagrams use the letters in one word to make other words. For example:

Radagast the brown could be Rawboned shag tart. Thats an anagram.

In this thread we would do this: bogasnrwtatedhra ( person, 3 words)

See the differences. ;)

NightKnight 07-15-2004 07:42 AM

Right. Sorry about that.

Feanor of the Peredhil 07-19-2004 08:43 AM

The Perky Ent 07-31-2004 11:59 AM

Alrighty then! The next one is a 4 letter thing:

kvhelcrofastaeli

Have at it!

Feanor of the Peredhil 08-02-2004 06:03 PM

I'm assuming that the answer is not A HILL OF EVER STACK...

Did you mean that it's a four word thing?

The Perky Ent 08-02-2004 06:34 PM

Woah! Whoops! I meant 4 word thing. Sorry! Woah, I can't believe I did that. That's funny. Anyways, no, it's not A Hill of Ever Stack..

InklingElf 08-03-2004 03:47 PM

is it a person or a place?

Feanor of the Peredhil 08-03-2004 04:04 PM

I believe it's a 4-word "thing". And I certainly think I ought to be congratulated on my discovery of A Hill of Ever Stack. ;)

Fea

The Perky Ent 08-04-2004 10:39 AM

Congrats...but you've still got the wrong answer ;)

Mithalwen 08-08-2004 12:57 PM

Belated apology people .... only today have I absorbed the fact that that little white spot means I have shoved my oar in... in future I should keeptrackof my self better :o

InklingElf 08-09-2004 03:07 PM

Hehehe that's alright Mithalwen -- I'm quite guilty of holding up forum games myself :D

Perky:Obviously your scrambled word is quite a mind-boggler I wonder if you would be willing to clue us in -- the first letter at least. Thanks!

The Perky Ent 08-09-2004 05:30 PM

Right! Yeah, it is a good one. First letter is S

Kath 08-14-2004 07:30 AM

This is so hard! Could we be told if it's a person or a place? Please?

The Perky Ent 08-14-2004 10:28 AM

Alright. The first two letters of kvhelcrofastaeli is "si". And, furthermore, you could call it a place.

NightKnight 08-14-2004 12:03 PM

Sickle of the Valar

The Perky Ent 08-14-2004 01:57 PM

Correct! It is the sickle of the valar!

NightKnight 08-14-2004 06:08 PM

ADDHILLNOOROR

It's two words, and it's a person.

luthien-elvenprincess 08-15-2004 02:11 PM
