True or False-Book version!

basic true or false, except onlt deals with all the books

Arwen and Aragorn are cousins

True. Well, in a sense. They're not first cousins, but Arwen's uncle is Aragorn's ancestor.

Further Guidance

There is another True or False game here, but since that covers both the films and the books, and this game covers the books only, this one is fine to continue.

As was discovered on the other thread, though, if someone answers "true" and the answer is "false" (or vice versa), the correct answer will be obvious to the next person posting. In other words, without more, there is a 50:50 chance of getting the answer correct. To overcome this, I would suggest that anyone answering "false" must also state the correct state of affairs relevant to the question.

For example:

Q: Frodo first met Aragorn in Rivendell.
A: False. Frodo first met Aragorn in Bree.

If the answer "false" is given without the correct explanation, the questioner will be entitled to state simply that the answer is wrong, and leave it at that. Obviously, when answering "True", no more need be said.

OK. On with the game ...

True or False...

Eowyn, sister of Eomer, was three years old when Balin died and the dwarven colony in Moria was destroyed.

False. She would be born a year later.
