What did he say?
Ok, my sister and I are arguing about something. In Lorien, Legolas tells them that they elves are singing a lament for Gandalf. When asked what they're saying, he replies, "I haven't the heart to tell you. For me the grief is still too..." What word is that? Does he say "new" or "near"? (In the book he says "near", but they might have changed it.) So, help us!

Hey, welcome to the Downs, by the way!!!!
I'm pretty sure it's near. |
Thanks. Are you SURE that he says "near"?
I don't want to lose to my sister. |
Ok now I don't want to say if I'm sure or not! (I know how you feel, I hate when my sister's right and I'm wrong about something)

I think that y'all are right, that it's "near", but I don't want to admit it! Oh No!

You could always claim your sister mis-understood you that you *really* said "near" too....
