About Del Toro original plan of a bridge film to LOTR
 

When Del Toro was still director for the Hobbit, he planned to make one Hobbit film and maybe another film focusing on Aragorn and Gandalf's hunt for Gollum. It's bascially a Young Strider sequel. Do you think that could have worked?
