Sooo... is it a dwarf? ;)

paavo 07-21-2004 02:34 PM

is it a man mistaken for a horse?

Firefoot 07-21-2004 02:54 PM

It is not the Brilthor, Bree, or Bifur.

The only answer I could think of for paavo's question (and if this isn't what you meant, I'll give you the next letter) is Brego, who was made into a horse in the movie. It's not him either.

Feanor of the Peredhil 07-21-2004 04:51 PM

Is it a Dwarf who travelled with Bilbo on the quest to Erebor?

Firefoot 07-21-2004 04:56 PM

It is not Bofur.

Gil-Galad 07-21-2004 05:24 PM

Firefoot 07-21-2004 06:33 PM

It is neither Blackroot Vale nor the Brown Lands.

Morsul the Dark 07-21-2004 06:38 PM

is a hole in a hole in the ground, not a nasty dirty hole mind you, in the ground?

Feanor of the Peredhil 07-21-2004 06:42 PM

Is it a rather dangerous graveyard of sorts, east of the Old Forest?

Firefoot 07-21-2004 07:06 PM

It is not Bilbo, and it is not Baldor.

Morsul the Dark 07-21-2004 07:21 PM

Paavo, doesn't that mean that you should have given separate answers to the questions that Evisse and I asked? I know that this was the last game, but I just want to be clear on the rules.

Anyway, as to Firefoot's clue:

Is it a mountain?

Nilpaurion Felagund 07-21-2004 08:25 PM

Is it an Elven bow?

Thorongil 07-22-2004 02:14 AM

Is it a Dwarf?

Evisse the Blue 07-22-2004 03:14 AM

Is it a river?

that's completely true. it just seemed that you were both after Shelob so I thought I'd answer to both of you. I did intend to say that if the answer doesn't satisfy you, just ask the same question again, but somehow I didn't.
sorry for the confusion :(

And Firefoot you are one shrewd woman ;) Brego is excatly what I was looking for! And I thought I was clever and would get the next letter... :)

EDIT: lets see how you manage this! is it a sword that talks?

Firefoot 07-22-2004 04:20 AM

It is not Buckleberry Ferry, Barad-dûr, Bridge of Khazad-dum, Bundushathur, Belthronding, Borin, the Brandywine River, or the Black Sword.

Evisse the Blue 07-22-2004 05:38 AM

Is it a mystery?

Firefoot 07-22-2004 07:21 AM

It is not Beregond or Belegost.
