Sam for Nobel Peace Prize!

I think Samwise Gamgee should recieve an honorary literary Nobel Peace Prize for gardening and protecting the Ringbearer.
Actually, this is kind of an open topic for anybody who loves Sam.
I do.

And Frodo for being the uber-pacifist.

How about the Shire becomes some kind of Peace-place.

lol, yes, samwise definitely deserved all the mushrooms he could eat for that lovely piece of his life thrown to the dark, somber roads he painstakingly traveled. but he got everything he had ever wanted. and so did frodo, really. i think everyone did, except for gimli. to be in love with a beautiful elf must be a sad blow to bare for a dwarf.

Not sure what you mean by this. I know Frodo told Sam not to be torn in two, but I still believe that in a way he was. And Frodo--granted, he went to a great place, but he left all he knew behind.
This is just my way of thinking, if you take my meaning....I'd like to know your reasoning behind that statement.
