Im sorry but no one will answer me what are three descriptions for each of these:Elvish, Dwarvish, and Entish

What kind of description do you want? They're languages.

Like for elvis it is fluent and it rolls of your tongue

Entish: Takes ages to speak, lot´s of "hums" in it, few people know it, some elven elements, incredibly old

What do you mean fluent?

Fluent is how well one speaks/understands a language.

The Dwarvish language is generally secret - the dwarves did not speak it outside of their race, except for a few proper nouns - Khazad-dûm, Barazinbar, Bundushathûr, Zirakzigil, Azanulbizar, Azaghâl, etc.

Entish is a lot different from the languages we're familiar with...

Some other words: burárum, morimaite - sincahonda, ra-hoom-rah.

It takes a long time to say anything in Entish. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

Entish was described as sounding like a "woodwind instrument".

Also, there is no plain "Elvish." There are different Elven languages: Quenya, Sindarin, Telerin, Nandorin, etc.

BY 'fluent' do you mean 'fluid'? Elvish does seem like a fluid language; representing nature (streams, rivers, etc.) and all that.

the elven speech was said to be clear and sharp, but also more beautiful than other tongues.
old entish was developed by the ents for the ents, and it took ages to say anything in it. there were actually no elvish elements in it, but the ents liked to speak in elvish quenya if they had to be hasty.
dwarvish was called khuzdul. it was secretive, the dwarves kept it to themselves. they tghought it was a great secret. it was also meant to be very hard to say anything in dwarvish, because it wasa jaw cracker

A perhaps bizzare question of my own - the Ent's language had all of the "hrooming," in it. Sort of phonetic sounds...are there not tribes in Africa who's languages is made up primarly of clicks and other basic sounds? Could that have been a bit of an inspiration for Entish?

I'm rambling, but I'm curious as to whether anyone knows the inspiration for "Entish" whether I'm anywhere near being right or just incredibly stupid.

"Fluent" means knowledgeable...

If you're fluent a language, you can speak and understand that language well.

"Fluid" means flowing, smooth.

Quite clever, by no means was this a "stupid question". Entish, Elvish, and Dwarvish are all like the people that speek them. Thus:

Entish is a fairly rough, long winded, almost swaying language. It progresses in thought nearly as fast as trees progress in growth.

Elvish is almost musical and full of vowels (just look into the aspects of Finnish and I believe you should be fairly close to Tolkien's intended pronunciations.

Dwarvish is a sharper, rougher language with many accents and lots of rough syllables (Khazad). You might be able to compare it to some form of rough arabic.
