Farewell, Orson Bean
 

I have a soft spot for the animated Rankin Bass The Hobbit and The Return of the King films, from childhood.

Orson Bean, the voice of Bilbo in both movies, and Frodo in ROTK, has passed.

Good grief. :(

I am fond of those movies, too.

Not the kind of exit one would wish for or expect, either. :(
