Middle Earth Names
 

I'm not sure this game will be popular here as it was on another forum i've been to, but the game is simple.

EXP:

Captain Grishnahk: Gimli, a dwarf son of Gloin (or anything about the character.

The Barrow Wight: Istari (then somthing about them)

You have to say a name from Middle Earth that begins with the last letter of the previous name. It starts out easy, but as the game continues the names are harder and harder to find.

I'll start out:

Grishnakh, Captain of the Dark Tower of Mordor, slain by the Rohirrm in the Two Towers

Helms Deep Fortress of Rohan (fortresses, animals, swords, anything..)

Peregrin TooK-Son of Paladin

Hope i'm doing this right ;)

KhiM - Son of Mim the Petty-dwarf, slain by one of Turin's outlaw band. (The Silmarillion)

Melkor - foe of the world.

Radagast - one of the five Isatri

Treebeard- Ent of Fangorn Forest

Denethor, steward of Gondor

Does it have to be someone's name or can it be a place? if a place is possible then I shall say

Rohan, land of the Rohorrim or Eorlingas as they call themselves

nahaR-The horse of Orome,named on account of his voice.

Not so sure if this one counts...

Rangers - another term for the Dunadan; it seems to be the Common Speech translation.

Shadowfax, Gandalf's horse, one of the Mearas.

or, because nothing in Middle-Earthdom begins in X :D ,

Silmaril, any of three jewels crafted by Feanor and containing the light of the Two Trees.

Yes, there is. I think it's the same game. Maybe a mod could close this and we can switchover?

Necromancer - Sauron

This game is a bit different in the fact that you have to tell a bit about the person, place, or what ever you use. In the other one you just have to list the name/ word. If it closes we will at least know where the other one is I guess.

Radagast the Brown - one of the Five Istari

In the other one, you have the option to write something about what you put down. Or you can be like me and write pretty much a whole paragraph on it!! :D

Targon - some guy, in the buttery of Gondor, that Beregond greets as he is showing Pippin around.

I believe everyone deserves a mentioning so there you go Targon.

Nessa: One of the Valier,the sister of Orome and spouse of Tulkas

Aule - one of the Valar. Married to Yavanna and very close friends with Manwe. Creator of Dwarves.

Elbereth:The usual name of Varda in Sindarian,Star-Queen
