Will we see some battles from the Amazon show?

War of Sauron and the Elves, Numenore conquest of Middle-Earth, War of the Last Alliance?

I would be completely, utterly shocked--nay, flabbergasted--if they somehow released a TV show set in Middle-earth without a single battle.

Which ones, mind you, I am not qualified to guess--you've probably named some probable candidates, as long as the timeframe fits.

That said, I would truly enjoy the audacity if they went a completely battle-free route. You could do it; indeed, the Second Age offers the best narrative for a Middle-earthen "drama" in "Aldarion and Erendis"--but while I would enjoy seeing that attempted, I'd be beyond shocked if that's what they did.

I agree with Formendacil and would be extremely shocked if they make any movie or tv adaptation that is totally without battles.

Based on some recent news, we know Amazon only has access to Second Age material. The First and Third Age are completely off limits. So, I think we'll see the making of the Rings of Power, the wars and destruction of Eregion, Numenor and it's downfall. If it lasts long enough and there are more seasons (I think right now it's already set and approved for 2 seasons?) then yes, I believe the Last Alliance would likely be the final season.

Or explicit gore, or frontal nudity, or....

The Second Age setting preludes Gandalf uncloaking, but all bets are off otherwise..;)
