What are your views about Oedipus Rex by Sophocles?

All literature students would know the tragic Greek play of Oedipus Rex who decided to change his fate but ultimately fell into it. However; I have many questions roaming in my mind, the most important one is that if fate was decided then why was he punished in the end? Was he wrong in pursuing the truth? I never seem to understand Sophocles which is why I have taken help from the Best Assignment Help Experts with my research work about this writer. I can’t seem to relate to him.

While this post could conceivably have something to do with Tolkien, the embedded link, now deleted, violates our spam policy.
