Wasn't that one of the Rohirrim to Merry in RotK? Elfhelm, maybe?

Beren87 03-23-2003 12:09 PM

This game really doesn't have any unique aspect about it. Please read the Quiz Room Rules which also apply here. Just put a little planning into your games and we can all have more fun with unique and challenging games. Remember, no quote is necessarily harder than any other, especially if they all come from the same series. We already have two quote games dealing with purely LotR.

Herudaeglin 03-23-2003 06:16 PM

Isn't it dernhelm?

vartalion 03-24-2003 10:00 AM

galdriel of the older (?) is right. This thread is unique because the quoates can be from anywhere, anywhere at all.

Dondagnirion 03-24-2003 10:27 AM

Your quote is Eowyn in disquise to Merry when Eowyn tells Merry that she will hide her and carry her on the trip to Gondor with the kings men.

Dondagnirion
"There is no spoon."

GaladrieloftheOlden 03-24-2003 10:29 AM

Olden. I am still in school so can't say I'm of the "older" (The name was off the top of my head.) Okay, here's a quote: "...nothing much to give to you young fellows, except good advice." If you need more, I'll post it, but the next sentence sort of gives it away, so I won't post it now. But then, there's too many good quote people out there...

GaladrieloftheOlden 03-24-2003 10:31 AM

Oh. Wait. Is it not my turn now? Oops...

eleanor_niphredil 03-24-2003 03:02 PM

Herudaeglin 03-26-2003 02:46 PM

Is it Fatty(Fredegar) Some-Hobbitish-Lastname?

Beren87 04-17-2003 07:40 PM

Neither, and not even close.

kittiewhirl1677 04-17-2003 08:24 PM

Denethor?

Very wild guess. I just read past the part(actually, never mind, no spoilers for people who haven't read RotK yet!) where something happens to Denethor(RotK readers should guess what I mean), and I don't remember if it's from there, but it's a guess. I'm too lazy to check in my book right now.
