Oh guys, I'm really touched by the fact that not only did some of you notice that I haven't been around, but it would seem that a few actually missed me, too.
Well, even though I wanted a break, I can honestly say that I've missed you, so I do intend to be a bit more active in the future, whether you like it or not. ;) |

So I've come back after a long absence/lurk period (college makes one so busy!) and noted that Glirdy and Fea noted my absence back in August! Shame on me! *waves to everyone* I'm thinking maybe I'll pump some life into the CbC Sil discussion, since Aiwendil seems to be doing a lovely job of modding it but no one's posted in a few days. It'll get me reading the Sil again, at any rate.

I finally remembered it was Gandalf the White, I first followed him here from M T. I also have not seen one white tree here for a long time; did she change her posting name? and the last one for today Zifnab.
What ever happened to the Downs memorial picture that we made years ago? the one listing all the old downs members..I think i had it once hosted on bigpond site but with a new pc and a dif web host not sure if it is still in the same place. |

Although we had more differences of opinion than agreements, I am sorry that the Saucepan Man isn't around very much anymore. One thing we were in agreement on was the importance of Remembrance Sunday and he usually changed is avatar so that it wore a poppy with pride. That it hasn't happened this year is rather sad ...

So do I, but I got a Christmas Card ( but no news) so I guess she is reasonably ok. I imagine that with 4 kids she doesn't have a lot of spare time and also has a lot of competition for the computer....
