nope
Ancalagon perhaps?
Nope...
Hint: This bad guy was a leader of soldiers |
Mauhur, who the Uruk-hai were expecting to ambush the Rohirrim, but never came because the Rohirrim found him and his Orcs first?
Good Finwe - Mauhur is correct
And he did come, he just never conected with Ugluks troops before he and his company was destroyd by Eomers men. Plase continue |
The company of fourteen met him, nad killed him
they escaped though, with a prescious cause who is "him" |
anyone? i have so many questions on alot of the quiz's in this room and no one is anwsering!
Hint: its in the Hobbit
The orc chieftain in the Misty Mountains?
nope
woah my bad your right, kinda... its the goblin king of goblin town, but i guess you can still go
That was what I meant. Just one thing, they were 15, and not 14 (13 dwarves + Gandalf and Bilbo).
Anyway, who was second in command of Morgul's forces? |
Khamul?
Gothmog!
souron.
Souron? who is Souron?
Well even though Telchar is right, i'll say it more precise Gothmog, LT of Minas Morgul |
Oops!! sory I meant "sauron" spelling error.
Telchar is right, please continue.
I guess it's kinda stupid, but...
... this bad guy is big enough to stand up.... |
Its not so hard actually!
Balrog?
There are a lot of bad-guys that fit that description. |
Nope.
Though it is a little cryptic, its actually a very straight forward description of the 'bad guy' name or rather the meaning of his name. |
is it Smaug
I thought Smaug flew... and didnt 'stand up' - and though I dont think you could call this bad guy a comedian...
How about Glaurung?
A worm that stands up???? come on!??
This guy is really totally super ultra bad!! |
Could it be Melkor?
Dragluin?
Lasgalen is rigth - but I would love an arguement/explanation ....
Cant someone tell me why Melkor is "big enough to stand up!" ???
hes a Valar and Valar are gods compared to the others?
Nope!
I think we need to continue this thread. Lasgalen had the answer, so he should go on. What I was looking for was simply the meaning of Melkors name: 'He who arises in Might" - therefore arise=stand up and might=big enough - It was probably too weird... |
Melkor on who Arises in Might
Sorry I didn't read your post Telchar [ 5:55 AM November 27, 2003: Message edited by: Estanesse ] |

A widow maker I’m called, Not seen until I strike, Men who cross me are beyond hope, except one unconditional love; |
Shelob?
A widow maker I’m called Not seen until I strike Men who cross me are beyond hope, except one-Sam? unconditional love- Sam for Frodo? |
Good guess, but nope.
Telchar, I guessed Melkor after you said "This guy is really totally super ultra bad!!" because he was the superest ultraest bad guy I could think of.
Yes you are right Lasgalen - and I asked for an explanation, which never came. The explanation of/ or show of understanding of the question was essential to me - merely grasping in the dark based on the hints is not enough - sorry. As you can see from My previous posts, you can see that I actually intented you to go on, but Estanesse, with sudden impulse took my breath away - I'll make it up to you ok?
I don't mind Esta going next. Actually I like guessing them better than I like thinking up a question.
