W is for Weathertop,, also under 'A' as Amon Sūl... But that's okay. It's special enough to be in here twice...

Kaiserin 08-08-2003 01:49 AM

X in FoX Downs, the western hilly region of the Shire.

Sophia the Thunder Mistress 08-08-2003 06:43 AM

Z (pronounced Zee ) for Zirakzigil, which is, in fact, a mountain.

Since we haven't moved in two days, let us start a new topic... Barrowdowners

A- Alaklondewen

Arwen Imladris 08-10-2003 12:04 PM

B - Beren87

Feanor of the Peredhil 08-10-2003 06:39 PM

Fea

Amanaduial the archer 08-12-2003 08:38 AM

D- Diamond18.

Hmm. In the brief for this topic, in the first post, it said you give a name/object and then describe it. Maybe people should give a short description of the person they name? Nothing too personal or revealing, of course.

For example: D - Diamond18. Also known as Sarah, Diamond18 is known mainly to me for her writing, as she writes in RPGs as well as doing original writing. She was in the parody RPG, The Revenge of the Entish Bow RPG in Gondor as Vogonwė Brownbark and Pimpiowyn Took, and is now in the sequel with the same characters. Her avatar suits her name, being a diamond necklace.

(I don't know much about Diamond, but you get the idea).

Arwen Imladris 08-12-2003 03:54 PM

Elennar Starfire: Her real name is Kathryn and she is 14. She really likes languages, reading and LOTR.

Kaiserin 08-12-2003 09:04 PM

F: Finwe. I don't know him, but I can see he knows a lot of stuff.

Firondoiel 08-12-2003 09:20 PM

G is for GaladrieloftheOlden; A lot of fun and a great sense of humor!

Kaiserin 08-12-2003 11:28 PM

H is for HerenIstarion.

Amanaduial the archer 08-13-2003 04:49 AM

I - Imladris. He has become a regular poster on the Green Dragon with the character Lira. I don't know much about him, but he has a great avatar- Will Turner from Pirates of the Carribean.

Beren87 08-13-2003 05:11 AM

J-JestheJade, quiz master and previous moderator of the Quiz forum. She's no longer active on the forums.

Mariska Greenleaf 08-13-2003 07:35 AM

K-Kaiserin

Amanaduial the archer 08-13-2003 09:52 AM

(Erm, Mariska, could you put a short description as well, please? If you don't know much about that member, you could also use KingCarlton- 13 years old, nearly banned, Australian (he claimed). KC was heavily involved in the very first Party ('Lets Have The Party Here') in which he systematically tried to expel every character from the party. Delightful chap.)

L - Lyra Greenleaf. Besotted with Darius (!), Paul McCartney and, actually, the Beatles in general, Lyra is an RPGer and an active member of the forums. She is very bubbly and easy to talk to, and was a frequent poster in the Downies party, even if she does fancy a man who talks about 'BLOODY BUTTERED ONIONS'.

Oh, I'm so sorry, but I really did not no much about her, the name just popped up...

Well than, M for Meela, very much spoken off downer that has this weird Denethor fascination

Nįrėlindalė Aralaithiel: (goes by just Aralaithiel). She works at Saint Francis Hospital in Ohhhhhhhk lahoma (where the wind comes sweeping down the plains...) She likes horseback riding and hockey, writing, Bible study, Star Trek, languages and Fantasy books.

Amanaduial the archer 08-13-2003 03:24 PM

O- Oliphaunts_Rule. Called Ollie, he is newly deceased and hasn't been here for very long, but is quite sweet. Oddwen's sister.

Arwen Imladris 08-13-2003 03:42 PM

the phantom: Also known as Philip, is 20 years old. He wants to be rich and be a father. He likes music, he plays the drums, violin, piano and he sings. He also likes sports: football, tennis, hockey, and basketball. He likes LOTR, Star Wars, The Matrix, and the Search for the Holy Grail.

Amanaduial the archer 08-14-2003 06:30 AM

Q - Quirkette. Now, much as I love the name, I know absolutely nothing about Quirkette, apart from the fact that he/she is quite possibly the only 'Q' member on the barrowdowns. Sorry.

Beren87 08-14-2003 09:39 AM

R is for Rimbaud! Punnery expert extraordinaire, Moderator of Gondor, and all-around amphibiously seeming chap.

Amanaduial the archer 08-14-2003 10:06 AM

S - Sharku. Member number three. Administrator. PT: Hungry Ghoul. Avatar- rather cool ghostly light...thing.

Beren87 08-14-2003 10:24 AM

T is for The Barrow-Wight! (not, wright, ), Admin, creator, and leader of The Barrow-Downs.

Faye Took 08-14-2003 12:33 PM

U is for Mister Underhill: A Downs controller

Amanaduial the archer 08-14-2003 02:16 PM

V - VanimaEdhel. Vanima is quite a big RPGer, as well as being into drama and dance in school. She is a New Yorker (I think). One of her RPG characters from the Shadows of Umbra, Hwestlaeriel, will soon be reincarnated in another RPG in Rohan.

Arwen Imladris 08-14-2003 02:58 PM

Robert W. Gardner: (Gilthalion) was born in 1963, is a paster and his goal in life is to have people say, "He truly followed Jesus." He was a former radio talkshow host.

Beren87 08-14-2003 03:01 PM

X is for TheXPhial! RPGer, anime fan, and all around incredible gal.

Arwen Imladris 08-14-2003 03:25 PM

skyfiery: Is 17 and wants to become a writer and likes Orchestral music.

Sorry, I couldn't find any info on Yavanna, and I couldn't think of any other people that started with a Y, skyfiery works well because there is 2 y's.

Amanaduial the archer 08-15-2003 11:55 AM

Hmm...Yavanna228, or YavannaKementari - I don't know either of them well. Yavanna Kementari always ends her posts with 'Peace', and both of them are named after the Vala called 'The Fruit Giver', Manwe's counterpart. The mother type figure.

Z - Zifnab. Er....little help anyone?

Feanor of the Peredhil 08-19-2003 12:06 PM

Can't help with Zithnab, but I can throw in a new topic: Non-human Lord of the Rings book characters.

A= Arwen, daughter of Elrond and Celebrian, grand-daughter or Galadriel and Celeborn. Gave up immortal life to be with Aragorn the Ranger. Elf maiden.

Amanaduial the archer 08-19-2003 12:53 PM

B - Beren (quite appropriate, bearing in mind the last one was Arwen). Loved Luthien Tinuviel, naming her nightingale when he first heard her singing. For her hand, he followed her father's condition, retrieving one of the Silmarils from Morgoth, and in the process, losing one hand. She gave up eternal life for him.

One of my fave characters.

Beren87 08-19-2003 02:23 PM

Mine too. =P Except the topic is "Non-human" and "Lord of the Rings" characters. So here's another B

B is for Bilbo! Hobbit of the Shire, adventurer renound, and thief extrordinair!

Amanaduial the archer 08-19-2003 02:30 PM

I...am...sosorry.....*sheepish* To think, I was going to say Balin as well...(he is a Lord of the Rings character - he appears, alright!?)

C - Celeborn. Galadriel's husband, the Lord of the Golden Wood.
