So long as Smaug is here, threatening to make roast dwarf for dinner, it would seem unwise to evict as skilled (if dull) an archer as Bard. Now, Bifur seems to serve little purpose on the island, not doing much more than assisting Bombur in devouring the dwarves' rations. Therefore, my vote will go to

++BIFUR

Glirdan 12-16-2005 03:03 PM

Thin, is that your vote?

My vote will be for

++Bifur

Reason stated yesterday are once again my reason.

Captain Grishnahk 12-16-2005 05:02 PM

++ Bard

(gotta have some conflict)

Glirdan 12-16-2005 10:23 PM

Day 16

After having the useless Dwarf Bifur on the island for 16 days, people finally decided that it was time for them to get rid of Bifur. "He's lazy and useless. I say that's reason enough. " Balin said. That night, at tribal council, the voting went a little something like this:

Great Goblin - 1
Bifur - 6
Bard - 4

"Fine be that way!!!" And with that he went off in search of his brother, Bofur who was resting peacfully in The Lonely Mountain while Smaug was away.

His nassty orcsees tried to catch poor Smeagol. :mad:

Glirdan 12-17-2005 09:53 AM

I will help the cause to get rid of Bard (we don't need leaders anymore!!) If you help me to get rid of Galion, the one who may people have tried yet unsucsessfully. What say you!?

mormegil 12-17-2005 09:59 AM

It's Bard or Beorn for me. I will go to whichever appears to have the best chance of being ousted. I will admit that I would rather Beorn be gone than Bard.

++ Bombur

Eonwe 12-17-2005 03:18 PM

There is nothing wrong with Bard and certainly nothing wrong with Beorn. There is, however, something deeply disterbing about someone that threatens to 'knash' people he doesn't like.

++The Great Goblin

(actually, this is more of a protest vote, as i don't really mind the guy myself.)

Rune Son of Bjarne 12-17-2005 04:35 PM

Nothing wrong with Bard ! ! !

Bard built his kingdom around the feudal system, what defines feudalism is that the power of the ruling class (the aristocracy) rested on their control of the farmable lands, leading to a class society based upon the exploitation of the peasants who farm these lands, typically under serfdom.

Celuien 12-17-2005 04:56 PM

I refuse to join any bandwagon today. ;)

++Belladonna Took

Being named for a toxic member of the nightshade family is no coincidence. In fact, Belladonna Took is an infamous serial poisoner, adding the deadly substance to wine and burying her victims in her cellars. Who knows when she'lll strike next? No one is safe until she goes home.

Lalaith 12-17-2005 05:48 PM

I had a promise from Ang to vote for Azog but the votes are going otherwise, and really I care little which goblin we kill. I want to save Bard, he is a bit of a prig but I respect a man who can shoot a straight arrow.
++The Great Goblin

Glirdan 12-17-2005 10:23 PM

Please stop voting. I'll have the double lynch... I mean double cast out up in a few minutes.

Glirdan 12-17-2005 10:37 PM

Day 17

Today was a very back and forth day. People couldn't decide on whether to get rid of Bard, the King of Dale, or The Great Goblin, who inflicted many woes upon travallers. "I say we look at both of them and compare!" Gloin suggested. "Well let's see. Bard is a useless leader who we don't really need at this point in time to lead us. He's also very dull and a rule follower. We need some conflict!!" Girion said. "The Great Goblin took us hostage, whipped us and almost killed us not to mention hurt many other travallers on their way throught the Misty Moutains. He's also in league with tha Chief Warg and that's never a good thing!!" Bombur said. " I have an idea!!" Elrond cried. Everyone looked at him in expectancy. "Let's get rid of them both!!!" The voting that night went a little something like this:

Bard - 4
Beorn - 1
The Great Goblin - 4
Bombur - 1
Belladonna Took - 1

"Ok, now how do we get rid of them?" asked Beorn. As if on cue, Gandalf reappeared and beheaded The Great Goblin then disappeared. "Well, that takes care of one, but what about the other?" asked Old Took. Once again, as if on cue, a whole army of orcs arrived and slew Bard where he stood. They to then disappeared. "Well, that was the wierdest thing I've ever seen!!" cried Elrond. "And I should know 'cause I've seen some pretty wierd things!!" And with that, they left for camp.

Contestants voted out:

The Saucepan Man 12-18-2005 05:20 AM

I must honour my deal with Glirdan and, in any event, the drunken butler's antics really are now getting rather boring. The Elf's a buffoon. It was funny to begin with, but now it's just sad.

++ GALION

WaynetheGoblin 12-18-2005 07:51 AM

++GALION
I dont like drunk butlers.

Glirdan 12-18-2005 09:36 AM

++Galion

Thanks Saucy, for honoring the deal. I'm also in complete agreement with you. His drunken antics were funny at first, but now they're just lame. I say we send him off with that useless Chief of Guards. It's also his fault for getting the chief drunk and thus letting the Dwarves escape.

Anguirel 12-18-2005 10:51 AM

This tribe has been persecuted enough.

Down with the malodorous goblin ++AZOG. He is so called because he was issued with no less than 420 ASBOs (Anti Social Behaviour Orders) for graffiti and murder, called in the Khuzdul tongue AZOGs (Anti Zuchkkkerrilichiggkurin Organkadaringur Geldharks.)

Eonwe 12-18-2005 12:23 PM

++Azog it is. We haven't really even touched the Bad Guy's tribe.

Lalaith 12-18-2005 04:40 PM

A day late, but Anguirel keeps his word. So:
++AZOG

Rune Son of Bjarne 12-18-2005 04:42 PM

We have removed some of the bad guys and I do like Azog, but I like Galion more.

++Azog

arcticstorm 12-18-2005 05:08 PM

AS my sig indicates, he should have been evicted a lot earlier
++Galion

Day 18

No matter how hard they tried, people couldn't get rid of the drunken butler. Everyone else just went and voted for Azog, the malodorous just to save the stupid butler. That night at tribal council:

Galion- 4
Azog - 5

With that, Azog got up in a huff and walked into the jungle. However, just as he entered the jungle, he fell in a hole which contained spears sticking out of the ground.

mormegil 12-18-2005 11:26 PM

++Beorn

He's a prat! I've gone over this arguement many times but the nightly maulings are getting too much and they must stop. Also what kind of a nincompoop needs dwarves to be segmented in their arrival so he can handle it? He does little for the tribe and his love of bees are bringing those pesky bugs around and the stings are becoming too much as well. His initial humor and charm have worn thin and now he's plain annoying.

Anguirel 12-19-2005 02:15 AM

Yeah, pick on the weakest tribe why don't you? Overbearing bully...

There are still far too many Dwarves. ++OIN needs to go and find the squid of his dreams...or possibly nightmares...

WaynetheGoblin 12-19-2005 06:01 AM

++GALION
This butler is useless drunken and useless get rid of him.

The Saucepan Man 12-19-2005 06:08 AM

++ GALION

How much longer do we have to endure his awful alcohol-fuelled antics?

Lalaith 12-19-2005 07:04 AM

Dost thou think that because thou art virtuous, Saucie, there shall be no more cakes and ale?
I'm quite enjoying Galion's carousing, especially as it's the festive season. So I'll vote to save him,
++OIN

Rune Son of Bjarne 12-19-2005 07:07 AM

++Oin

He has never tastet Safran

Tuor in Gondolin 12-19-2005 10:25 AM

Galion or Oin? Perhaps another tie?

+ + Galion

Formendacil 12-19-2005 12:24 PM

Just because I think that Galion's presence is most amusing in its affect on certain voters, I will vote for that forgotten, soon to be gone, Oin. His only claims to fame are being eaten by a giant octopus and being good without matches.

Pithy!

++Oin, son of Groin

Celuien 12-19-2005 02:55 PM

++OIN...

...because Oin is an anagram of ion. He is therefore responsible for the annoying epidemic of static cling in the island's laundry and should be sent off in search of calamari.

Besides, I want to save Galion.
