The Inland Sea of Helcar, where Cuivienen was a bay.

Elves: they first awoke in Cuivienen.

Turgon:Second son of Fingolfin, king of the elves in Gondolin and father of Idril Celebrindal, died in the sack of the city.

Eärendil, son of Tuor and Idril, who recieved the Silmaril and with its power sailed into the Uttermost West and from thence was lifted up into the airs, to sail as a message of hope to the people of Middle-Earth until the Last Battle, Dagor Dagrath.

Elwing: Daughter of Dior, who escaping from Doriath with the with the Silmaril weddedbEarendil at the mouths of Sirion and went with him to Valinor, mother of Elrond and Elros. The name means "Star spray"

Mouths of Sirion:The entrance to the great river, Sirion, of Beleriand and the place where Elwing and Eärendil were married.

Beleriand, once northwestern-most of all lands of ME, but now drowned under the waves of Belegaer after the War of Wrath.

Lindon: A name of Ossiriand in the first age, Lindon was all that remained of the lands west of the blue mountains after the tumults of the first age.

Ered Luin: the Blue Mountains in the far West of Middle Earth after the fall of Beleriand. The Dwarves had many halls here.

Durin I: The eldest of The Seven Fathers of The Dwarves.
