I see.

I see what you mean, i mean he was that father figure to Eowyn while growing up. So I see how you mean "stepdaughter."

Rilwen Gamgee 09-07-2004 03:07 PM

No, he/she is not a human.

Boromir88 09-07-2004 03:15 PM

Human as in not "the race of men" like Aragorn, Theoden..etc, or human as in not mortal?

Rilwen Gamgee 09-07-2004 03:26 PM

Ah, my apologies... "Human" meaning the race.

NightKnight 09-08-2004 05:25 AM

Durin VII, descendant of Thorin III.

Rilwen Gamgee 09-08-2004 03:35 PM

Sorry, no. This person isn't a Dwarf.

Boromir88 09-08-2004 05:03 PM

guessing

Well just another random guess, but,

Dior heir of Thingol?

Rilwen Gamgee 09-09-2004 03:08 PM

Oh, but it is not just a random guess... It's right! ;) :D

Your turn.

Boromir88 09-10-2004 12:47 PM

Thank you, here we go, and I even checked to see if I was doing this right.

G.I.

RadomRadagast 09-10-2004 02:04 PM

Is he (or she) a dwarf?

Boromir88 09-10-2004 02:09 PM

nope not a dwarf.

Rilwen Gamgee 09-10-2004 03:21 PM

Is he/she an Elf?

Boromir88 09-10-2004 03:24 PM

yes, an elf.

Rilwen Gamgee 09-10-2004 03:29 PM

Is this Elf male?

Boromir88 09-10-2004 03:30 PM

yes

NightKnight 09-10-2004 03:33 PM

Rilwen, it's not 20 questions here. ;)

Is it Galador son of Imrazôr?

Boromir88 09-10-2004 03:34 PM

nope, its not a son/daughter of, it's just a name. Like the example given in the beginning L.G. for legolas greenleaf.

NightKnight 09-10-2004 03:37 PM

Gildor Inglorion.

Boromir88 09-10-2004 03:39 PM

yes you are correct. Take it away.

NightKnight 09-10-2004 03:40 PM

N. G.

Fingolfin II 09-10-2004 06:05 PM

No.
A hobbit?
Yes.
Is he/she a Baggins?
Yes.
Bilbo Baggins?
Good Job!

And so on, but I, and I hope everybody else will come up with harder ones than that.
Oh, and for all the characters with one name, take Legolas or something and put in either their other name in english(or elvish) after a period.
ex. L.G.
or who they're daughter/son of, only with a dash wo we know.
ex. L.-T.
Or if they have many different names like Gandalf...
ex. G.M. or G.S.
or ex2. A.L. for Aragorn, with their dominant initial first.

Please stick to the prescribed notation (or, if you're using something different, make this clear in your question).

I would have said the same but, on checking the rules, I see that questioning is permitted.

NightKnight 09-12-2004 01:19 PM

Sorry about that, I seem to have missed it. I'll try to be better. :)

Fingolfin II 09-13-2004 01:37 AM

C. -E

NightKnight 09-13-2004 05:44 AM

Fingolfin II 09-13-2004 05:47 AM

Yes.

NightKnight 09-13-2004 11:51 AM

G. -G.

Rilwen Gamgee 09-13-2004 03:15 PM

Gimli, son of Gloin?

NightKnight 09-15-2004 05:02 AM

Yep. Too easy, wasn't it? :p

Rilwen Gamgee 09-15-2004 03:10 PM

It was such an obvious guess I was sure it would be wrong! ;) Anyway, here's the next one:

B.- B.

NightKnight 09-15-2004 11:35 PM

Beren, son of Barahir?

Rilwen Gamgee 09-16-2004 01:03 PM

No, good guess though; but this person is a Human (as in a mortal).

NightKnight 09-16-2004 11:27 PM

Bergil, son of Beregond?

Rilwen Gamgee 09-17-2004 03:06 PM

Aye, Knight. Actually it was Beregond father of Bergil, but I won't be picky... Proceed!

NightKnight 09-18-2004 12:46 PM

Thanks. :)

F. N.

Rilwen Gamgee 09-20-2004 03:24 PM

The Saucepan Man 09-21-2004 04:37 PM
