(for the wet Frodo picture)

Frodo: I just wanted a bath!!!! What do you mean that was the last of our water???????

Oddwen 10-07-2003 09:11 PM

Elrond: YOODELOODELOODELEEEHEE-HOOO!

Meela 10-08-2003 03:58 AM

"It's one, two, skip, left, you idiots! You step to the right *after* the twirl, not before!"

Feared Half-Elf 10-08-2003 04:44 AM

Elrond: Don't even think about trying to cut my hair without me noticing!!!

Lyta_Underhill 10-08-2003 08:29 AM

*for the Boromir/Denethor picture*:
Boromir: Uh, Father, I know you loved Mom, but you should have let her be buried with her own hair, instead of wearing it yourself...besides, it just doesn't go with the outfit.

Denethor: Since when are YOU a fashion critic? Don't be a pansy, son! It is a sign of manly bravery to wear one's hair in long, graceful waves...if you were Faramir, I'd expect a discourse on my fashionable fur collar as well...

Boromir (thinking): well, I won't mention it here...

Cheers,
Lyta

What is this I see? The secret Disco Training Camp, the trainees of which intend to usurp me? NEVER!

Hmmm... blue eyeliner. Or do I prefer the black?

Elennar Starfire 10-08-2003 03:50 PM

Yum, squid! Too bad it's so small...

Lily Bombadil 10-08-2003 05:07 PM

For the Elrond one...

Elrond: If I hear one more person say, 'my feet hurt', I'm gonna sream, like this: AAAAAARGH!!!!!

Nilpaurion Felagund 10-08-2003 06:43 PM

Boromir: Hmmm...since I'm Disco King already, maybe it's time to be Ballroom Dancing King, too...

-----or-----
Boromir: What's that I see burning out yonder?
(looks far, then thinks)
Boromir: Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Dad torched my disco tracks!

Wala lang!
->The True Son of Finrod, and of Amarie the Vanyar

The Saucepan Man 10-08-2003 07:25 PM

Boromir: *Whispering* Psst! Elrond! Get the glue. My moustache is coming loose.

Finwe 10-08-2003 07:42 PM

Boromir: Does the black leather make me look sexy? Or would you prefer the maroon?

Elrond: Black is fine, Boromir.

Legolas: Stupid pansy! That's my job!!!!

Lyta_Underhill 10-08-2003 07:54 PM

Boromir waits for an opportunity to discreetly tell Gandalf about a booger that has been distracting him throughout the Council of Elrond...

THE Ka 10-08-2003 08:49 PM

This is for the denethor/boromir/crowd of people picture...

Armor: 5 pounds of silver

weapons: 2 pounds of gold

Having to remind your father that this is the 50,000th time he's said that your his favorite... priceless....

For everything else, well, your on your own...

ha...ha... i just noticed that i sound lame.wierd.

wait a minute! wait a minute! whoa! freeky! ok, if anyone wants to know what the Ka might look like look at the picture with denethor and boromir, ok look at the center of the picture near denethor, the guy with the dark brown hair.he's got a cup in his hand and his face is faceing to the right. see him? It's the identical twin of the Ka!
Well, that's unusual, it's not everyday you see a guy who looks just like you... and is on a poster

TRAGIC RABBIT
Tragic rabbit, a painting,
the caked ears green like rolled corn,
the black forehead pointing at the stars,
A painting on my wall, alone.

As rabbits are, and aren't. Fat red cheek, all art, trembling nose, a habit hard to brake as not.

You too can be a tragic rabbit; green and red your back, blue your manly little chest.
But, if you've ever goaded into being one beware the True Flesh, it will knock you off your tragic horse, and brake your tragic colors like a ghost breaks marble; your wounds will heal so quickly water will be jealous.

Frodo has just volunteered to take the Ring to Mordor...

Boromir's thoughts: "Wow... Frodo is gre-- who is THAT?!"
Figwit intrances yet another victim....

I'm sorry. I had to do it.

Ha! Figwit strikes again....

ElentariGreenleaf 10-09-2003 12:36 PM

http://www.figwitlives.net/images/Figwit7.jpg

Figwit: *thinks* Humph! Look at him... What does he think he is... a king? *snigger*

Lyta_Underhill 10-09-2003 01:40 PM

Aragorn (thinking): I can look as pompously serious as any Elf! (avoids looking sidewise at Figwit to make sure he's still winning the "pompously serious look" contest.)

Figwit (thinking): I can look as pompously serious as any Man! (can't resist a sidewise look...I AM winning, right?)

Meela 10-09-2003 02:36 PM

Aragorn: you see, the thing about responsibility and leadership is that I have no time to devote to myself. My subjects must come first, and frankly, I don't know if I can cope with that kind of stress. As my therapist said recently...

Figwit: *hmmm... I like his shoes...*

Finwe 10-09-2003 03:42 PM

Figwit: *thinks to self* I hope that unwashed lout realizes that Arwen braided a pink ribbon into the back of his hair.

Aragorn: Don't I look manly? Don't I look sexy baby?

(My obscure Austin Powers reference for the day)

Elennar Starfire 10-09-2003 06:28 PM

Figwit: Hah! I can sit straighter than Aragorn!

On that Boromir one:

Boromir is reading the latest posts at the Barrow-Downs!

(Seriously, that's how I sit when reading the latest posts! I just noticed! isn't that weird?)

Nilpaurion Felagund 10-09-2003 07:08 PM

Figwit: I'll take his ring, yes, precioussss and then we'll be the masterssss...

Wala lang!
->The True Son of Finrod, and of Amarie the Vanyar

P.S. Just a question. Who is this Figwit character?

Naurwen_of_Lothlorien 10-09-2003 07:26 PM

For the Denethor one:

Denethor: Haha! My newly created Borri-bot! The perfect son now new and improved!! Heh...I'm so cool...

For the Boromir holding his 'tache one:

Boromir: *Suddenly distracted from the Council of Elrond* ......Did I leave the oven on..?? Oh no...DAD!

Yours obliviously

~Naurwen.

Yavanna228 10-09-2003 08:27 PM

Nilpaurion,
Figwit is the 'name' of the elf in the picture with Aragorn. Some rabid fangirl ( ) got hold of him and gave him the name Figwit from the phrase 'Frodo is grea...Who is that?!?' That was the thought going through most everyone's mind. Not much else is known about him, but he does have a website devoted to him. I'm pretty sure this is the URL, but there's a teaser there. Hope that helped!
Peace

For the Aragorn and Figwit one...

Random background voiceover: And today's latest fashion seems to be a rod up one's backside...

arianrod 10-10-2003 11:05 PM

As the rest of the members present at the Council of Elrond try to pay attention to the Elflord's lecture, Figwit has engaged himself in a staring contest with the Ring...

...Elvish wisdom apparently isn't all it's made up to be.

OR

Figwit: (thinking to himself) Ring... so... shiney... o_0

Hi I have just signed up and I came across
a few boards by accident. I have only just begun my obsession with Tolkiens work and I am driving my family insane with my obsession. My friends and family members started insisting I stop reading tolkien
(Have you ever been on one of those really long car trips that take like 8 hours)
well we were on one of those and my sister asked me where abouts Mina's Morgul was and I told her about the ages of middle earth and the Geography of middel earth eventually 6 hours later my 2 sisters were staring of into space and my father stopped the car and said IF YOU DON'T STOP TALKING YOU'LL WALK THE REST OF THE WAYso I had to stop right at an interesting part to. Finwe 10-11-2003 08:53 AM

Aragorn: Boromir just asked Silindė to blow his Horn of Gondor.

Figwit: *snicker snicker*

Arwen1858 10-11-2003 11:04 AM

Figwit: (thinking, and shooting cold looks at Legolas) Who does that blonde elf think he is, anyway? He thinks he's so good-looking. I was doing just fine with the ladies til he came...

Meela 10-11-2003 03:14 PM

"The lembas is missing???"

Arwen1858 10-11-2003 05:29 PM

Pippin: What do you mean there aren't any pubs between here and Mordor?!

Finwe 10-11-2003 06:22 PM

(I know this isn't very imaginative, but it seemed to fit Pippin perfectly).

Pippin: "At first I was afraid I was petrified, never knowing how I could live without you by my side.......But now your back from outer space..."

Treebeard: Hoom hom!!! Little Orc, burarum! Stop that racket instantly, or I shall get hasty!

Oddwen 10-11-2003 06:25 PM

A Borri-bot...hee hee...

Hugo Weaving sang "I Will Survive" in Queen of the Desert? EEEEWWW!!!

Pippin: "What? Noo! Don't breathe on me, Celeborn, I'll do anything!"

arianrod 10-11-2003 11:26 PM

And this is one of the better reactions to Legolas's rendition of 'The Silmarillion: The Musical'.

Ahhh, Secret Diaryness...

Actually, Arianrod, I thought it was Legolas' nekkid rendition...

Cassie Claire has a LOT to answer for...

arianrod 10-12-2003 12:38 PM

Was it really? Ah, well that's much less painful than Gimli trying to do high-kicks I suppose. Thanks for correcting me.

Anything but Arwen 10-12-2003 01:17 PM

No problemo... Speaking of Cassie Claire..

Merry tells Pippin what blowing the Horn of Gondor REALLY involves...

*slaps self* Bad, bad, diary obsessed girl..
