Lol, I just realized my mistake. I should have said Frodo to Sam after they had gotten away from the Orc Company that they were forced to march in, which was after they had escaped from the tower of Cirith Ungol.

Nope, It was Merry to Gimli and Legolas, after Legolas was talking about going to the Havens. Merry was wishing for the war to be over because he knew the worst was yet to come.

eleanor_niphredil 02-03-2003 01:02 AM

Beren87 got it right. i love that part.

Beren87 02-03-2003 04:02 PM

Was it Denethor when he was told to get off the funeral pyre that he torched himself on?

Beren87 02-03-2003 06:32 PM

It was him, but that's not where and when.

Dondagnirion 02-04-2003 10:24 AM

It was Denethor when he was watching Faramir at what he believed to be Faramirs death bed during the battle of the Pelennor.

Dondagnirion 02-11-2003 11:19 AM

Dark Shadow 02-17-2003 11:47 AM

Gandalf to Pippin when Pippin has told him about Denethor's plan to burn Faramir and himself.

Dondagnirion 02-17-2003 01:02 PM

That is Denethor to the errand rider of Minas Tirith. I can not remember if they gave his name but I am pretty shure that he showed up later with his head cut off on the side of the road when they were headed to Minas Tirith.

Dondagnirion
"There is no spoon."

eleanor_niphredil 02-17-2003 01:11 PM

Theoden you mean.

Dark Shadow 02-17-2003 01:13 PM

Nope. Well, it might be actually, but that's not the one I'm thinking of.

EDIT: You are correct, Theoden did say that, but it isn't the one I'm thinking of.

Beren87 02-17-2003 01:24 PM

It was said by Theoden, but what I think he's looking for is Imrahil to Legalos about coming to Aragorn's "council".

Dark Shadow 02-17-2003 01:46 PM

Correct.

- Why does everyone think I'm "he"?

Beren87 02-21-2003 11:29 PM

That's whom eleanor!

And yes, we like that chapter. It's about the middle when I randomly open my book to find a quote.

eleanor_niphredil 02-22-2003 03:27 AM
