NightKnight 05-20-2004 07:40 AM

Fingolfin II 05-20-2004 04:32 PM

How about-

C. -E

Dargoth of Morkrond 05-20-2004 06:50 PM

Ciryandil son of Eärnil??

NightKnight 05-22-2004 09:16 AM

Idril Celebrindal, daughter of Elenwë?

Fingolfin II 05-22-2004 08:39 PM

NightKnight is Right as usual. Nice bit of rhyming there....

NightKnight 05-23-2004 01:23 PM

Thank you. :)

Fingolfin II 05-24-2004 12:47 AM

Kath 05-24-2004 12:45 PM

Balin, son of Fundin?

NightKnight 05-24-2004 02:05 PM

Yes. :)

Kath 05-25-2004 12:07 PM

Ooooh I got one right!
Ok bad at these so this'll be easy enough:
F. - S

NightKnight 05-25-2004 12:28 PM

Fëanor, son of Serinde?

Kath 05-25-2004 01:13 PM

Nope

Sirithheruwen 05-25-2004 03:44 PM

Okay, I'm feeling brain dead, so a question:

Are they living in the Third Age?

Fingolfin II 05-25-2004 09:02 PM

Falastur, son of Siriondil?

Kath 05-26-2004 12:29 PM

Yes they are living in the third age and no to the last guess Fingolfin II.

NightKnight 05-27-2004 07:07 AM

Ferdinand Took, son of Sigismund Took?

Kath 05-27-2004 01:28 PM

Wrong NightKnight. Also sorry but i just realised, one is THird Age but one is Fourth Age.

Firefoot 05-27-2004 02:11 PM

Frodo Gardner son of Samwise Gamgee?

Kath 05-27-2004 02:17 PM

Yes of course it is.
i knew it would be too easy once I told you that.

Fingolfin II 08-07-2004 11:33 PM

I like this game, so I'm going to resurrect it-

L. -A

Rilwen Gamgee 08-10-2004 01:49 AM

A small question: Do the individuals in the answers need to be related?

Possible wild guess:
Legolas friend of Aragorn

Fingolfin II 08-10-2004 03:32 AM

I'm not sure about whether they have to be related or not. A question for the thread-maker I guess. As to your answer, good try, but no. These two people are related.

Boromir88 08-10-2004 09:21 AM

Right now I can't think of a daughter/son relationship so I'm going to go with...

Lothiriel grand-daughter of Adrahil

Fingolfin II 08-10-2004 08:26 PM

Nope. They are son/daughter and mother/father.

Rilwen Gamgee 09-04-2004 06:28 PM

10-day rule...

D.- T.

Was the answer to the previous initials Lomion (a.k.a. Maeglin) son of Aredhel?

Fingolfin II 09-04-2004 07:50 PM

Dis daughter of Thrain?

And your answer was correct :).

Rilwen Gamgee 09-05-2004 11:05 AM

Ah... I had forgotten about those ticksy second names... ;)

No. But a hint that should be mentioned is the relationship between the two is not exactly "son/daughter and father/mother", though they are related.

Boromir88 09-05-2004 03:43 PM

Stick with Dwarf.

Well, I think I'll go along with a dwarf guess too, only one I got now. How about..

Durin VII son of Thrain III

Rilwen Gamgee 09-06-2004 09:52 AM

No, this person is not a Dwarf.

Boromir88 09-06-2004 11:47 AM

Alias

Well I'm going to try one of those tricy alias names.

Dernhelm (Eowyn) daughter of Theodwyn.

NightKnight 09-06-2004 01:18 PM

Or perhaps Dernhelm stepdaughter of Theoden?

Boromir88 09-06-2004 10:01 PM

Incest!

I think you mean "niece" between Dernhelm and Theoden. Stepdaughter would mean...incest between Theoden and Theodwyn, ACK!!!!!

NightKnight 09-07-2004 08:23 AM

Hmmm... He was like a father to her...
