Fëanor is the greatest striker to grace the game. That's canon. Besides, if you're behind, and put Miriel as captain, you're not going to gain anything on the leaders if they too have done the same thing, no matter how many goals she scores. Also, Miriel is a quitter. She's got excellent skills, sure, but as soon as the going gets tough, she just gives up, lies down and dies.

Hakon, well Miriel was actually a bit of surprise last year, Tuna didn't even make the finals (I think they made it to the Final 8) and Miriel was only 1 goal short (maybe 2) of being tied for most goals. And it seems like she's continuing that this year! But, I have questions how far Tuna can go, as their defense is what let them down last year, and one bad game from Miriel is all it takes. ;)

Haha, thanks...I wanted to do some sort of writing/reaction for the games, and thought about bringing back the "BCS"...erm soccer...power rankings like from the 1st year. But decided to go more with the blogger feel (although I call it more "a lazy analyst who sits at his computer, listening to Phil Collins, and somehow thinks because he can read stats he knows something about sports" :p) in predictions and comments. But a blogger is a much better descriptor :smokin:

I agree with Skip, there's no sense in everyone picking up the same players. Especially those behind need to pick players others don't have to gain points in comparison to others.

And blah, my initial idea was to go back to my dynamic duo from last year, namely Miriel - Nerdanel by adding Nerdanel at this point but now as everyone is having her recruited I think I need to give up the idea even if would have loved to do it.
