We are waiting with nerves as big as cables and my nails are nearly finished |
Hm, sorry this has taken forever... *embarrassed face* Since this thread was Very Easy Trivia I was only thinking of a swan, not which color. And since I'm in the process of moving I haven't got my books to look it up, so I have absolutely no idea what color the thing was. Lathspell, you take it cause you had swan first. Many apologies.

Thank you, Sophia! If of course someone who has the books (I don't have them here either since I'm at my gf's house) can give us the quote of that color, please let us know.
In the meantime this is the next question: At which obstacle did Lenwe and the Nandor turn aside? lathspell |

Who cast the original spell on the West door of Moria? |
The West Door would be the door made by Narvi and decorated by Celebrimbor. The first spell, I'm rather less sure of. Do you mean the first spell that set up the "Speak Friend and Enter" System, or the first spell cast when the Fellowship arrived there? In situation A) I haven't the foggiest, Celebrimbor or Narvi would be the logical guesses, in situation B) Gandalf of course.
Sophia (Why is it that whenever I leave this forum for a few days I feel all my Tolkien knowledge leaking out of my ears? ) |
I found a reference in either UT or the Silm, which said that Celebrimbor set the "Speak Friend and Enter" spell into the runes around the gate......*blushing*...but I didn't mark the page, and now I can't find it
Never mind... your go Sophia |
