Actually, I don't think that I ever did suggest that there should be no pre-emptive questions. Not on this thread, anyway.

So feel free to pre-empt away. Seems pointless to me, though, as the quesion-setter can just choose a subject to which the answer to the pre-emptive questions is "No". :p

Well, even without pre-emptive questions, one can change her mind too, before answering the first set of questions. I think pre-emptive questions just makes you make up your mind quicker. ;)
