So you don't mean "Is it one removed from Enedwaith?"

But I get it now...Not Aratar.

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-08-2006 07:45 AM

Drat!

:D

'Enedwaith' = anyway in my vocabulary. ;)

Is it alive before the World was formed?

JennyHallu 03-08-2006 08:04 AM

Is is alive before the world was formed?

Come now, Nilp, that's a "was it" question. This isn't the "was it" game...

Plus I'm not entirely sure I've got your answer. Not Arien?

the idea of this game is that someone thinks of a word (ME related of course) and gives the letter it begins with. The others then try to think of a word that begins with the given letter and then ask a question which could be answered with the word the asker has thought up. (paavo)
The question doesn't necessarily have to start with 'is it.' I just started my question with 'is it,' disregarding grammar, because I want it to fit the game's title.

Is it alive before the World was formed?

JennyHallu 03-08-2006 08:22 AM

I wasn't complaining, just hedging for time...and maybe teasing you for your grammar, just a little bit ;)

Is it alive before the world was formed? Not Araw

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-08-2006 08:29 AM

Got me again.

Really sorry. :o I thought that . . . well, never mind. Again, really sorry.

So . . .

Is it where the wise turned back?

JennyHallu 03-08-2006 08:40 AM

Wild Guess Ahead

Is it where the wise turned back?

Not Argonath?

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-08-2006 08:41 AM

Hehe.

:D

Is it where the wise turned back?

JennyHallu 03-08-2006 08:48 AM

Grrr...

Not Aros?

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-08-2006 08:49 AM

A little alteration:

Is it where many of wise turned back?

JennyHallu 03-08-2006 08:54 AM

Agh! Running out of place names...

Not Armenelos?

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-08-2006 09:06 AM

More modifications.

Is it where many of wise turned back and returned home?

JennyHallu 03-08-2006 09:11 AM

Not Araman?

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-13-2006 08:29 PM

What happened?

Is it the last?

JennyHallu 03-14-2006 07:07 AM

Not Arvedui.

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-15-2006 06:57 AM

Where's that paavo???

Is it the last?

JennyHallu 03-15-2006 08:19 AM

He's hiding.

Not Ar-Pharazon.

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-15-2006 08:21 AM

*evil grin*

Is it the last?

JennyHallu 03-15-2006 08:24 AM

Yes, dear, you're very scary.

Not Aragorn. (I suppose we'll go with last Ranger, rather than last King.)

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-15-2006 08:37 AM

Aw, shucks.

Is it the first?

JennyHallu 03-15-2006 08:44 AM

*sigh*

Not Aranarth.

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-15-2006 09:26 AM

Must . . . get . . . another . . . letter . . .

Is it the first?

JennyHallu 03-15-2006 09:28 AM

Not yet.

Not Ar-Adunakhor

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-15-2006 09:47 AM

Fiddlesticks!

Is it the worst?

JennyHallu 03-15-2006 09:52 AM

What could possibly be worse than these vague questions?

I confess myself stymied. Give me your answer, and I'll give you your letter.

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-15-2006 10:07 AM

Success!

It's Ar-Gimilzôr, acclaimed worst enemy of the Elendili.

JennyHallu 03-15-2006 10:22 AM

*grumbles*

Oh, fine...

ARA

paavo 03-15-2006 11:22 AM

The worst has arrived!

Who is hiding? where? When? Oh, you mean all the people who went to hiding when they saw my graceful figure approaching :p

Is there a chance of mistaking it for something much bigger? (You can add an "is it" there if you want ;) )

JennyHallu 03-15-2006 11:43 AM

Not Araphant? (since it sounds like Oliphaunt?)

paavo 03-15-2006 02:44 PM

OoO! Tougher than you look! :)

Was he the son of the singer and the succesor of the greatest?

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-15-2006 06:32 PM

Is it the father and the son of the first and the last?

JennyHallu 03-16-2006 07:41 AM

Was he the son of the singer and the succesor of the greatest? Not Aranel

And Nilp...

I have no clue. *sighs* Answer?

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-16-2006 11:25 PM

Erm . . .

After a check of the genealogy of the Line of Isildur, I discovered that my question is wrong. My answer was Arathorn, the second of which was the father of Aragorn (last non-King Chief of Rangers) and the first of which was (as I mistakenly thought) the son of the first Aragorn.

Ignore it. *sigh*

Did it have the same title as the wisest?

JennyHallu 03-17-2006 07:23 AM

Hah!

Except that I don't know the answer to this question either. Drat!

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-19-2006 03:38 AM

Errors abound.

Aredhel's title was the White Lady, not just the White, which was also the title of Gandalf (aka Olórin, the wisest of the Maia).

I need to get some proper sleep . . . *sigh*

Well, I'll try one more time:

Is it on the edge of the wood with almost the same name as it?

JennyHallu 03-20-2006 07:36 AM

Go back to bed...

I can't find an answer to this one, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt...What's your answer?

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-21-2006 02:53 AM

Oh, dear . . .

I really should shut up now.

The first three letters are Ara . . . and my answer is Archet.

*bangs head on the nearest hard surface repeatedly*

JennyHallu 03-21-2006 07:46 AM

I really don't think that's going to help...

And you seem to be having enough problems already. Where'd paavo go? I didn't think this would be that hard, really.

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-23-2006 08:13 PM

Re: paavo

He's been destroyed, along with a very special Bakuretsu Kage Bunshin of mine. ( :p to paavo)

Enedwaith, I think I've learned my lesson.

Check facts.

Starts with ARA.

Does it have something seemingly dirty in it's name?

JennyHallu 03-23-2006 08:40 PM

Not Arassuil? (Similarity to "soil"?)
