If Valesse's out, I'd like to take her place, if I may. If not, thats cool too. :)

Rune Son of Bjarne 10-05-2006 05:46 PM

Don't you dare leave this game ! ! ! If you do I shall come to Texas and hunt you down with my spagetti lasso!

(Not that I don't want Eonwe in the game)

Eonwe I have added you to the list, I will need an occupation from you as well. :D

Valier 10-05-2006 11:36 PM

I would like to have the game start this Sunday at 10:00pm CST beginning with a night phase.

I will pm all the roles out by early Sunday at the latest. I will be telling the Weaver their role probably very shortly ;) . If this start time is a major problem with anyone I can move it either up or down by an hour. That is all though, as this time allows me to always be around for the narrations. :)

Nogrod 10-06-2006 02:48 AM

Back to the recurring topic... :)

So are you having CST (GMT-6) or still in the Daylight savings mode and thence, possibly in CDT (GMT-5).

Just tell us what the bottom of your page says, Valier (All times are GMT +/- ?). Then everybody can see for themselves.

Rune Son of Bjarne 10-06-2006 04:54 AM

Instead of constantly shifting between time zones, could we not keep it in GMT that should make things a bit easier.

Meneltarmacil 10-06-2006 05:38 AM

As I said, I will not be back from vacation until Monday afternoon, so I won't be able to do anything online Sunday.

JennyHallu 10-06-2006 06:22 AM

whoa...just realized I'm next on the Mod List...hmm...better start thinking about my game.

SECOND!

Eonwe 10-06-2006 08:57 AM

I think I'll be the Miller.

Valier 10-06-2006 08:58 AM

Well my time now is GMT-6 so at the time of this post it is...almost 9am for me. I hope this helps....so I think that would make it 3pm GMT at the time of this post.

The game starts with a night phase on Sunday, so you won't have to do much, if anything until 10pm CST Monday when the day phase begins.

Volo 10-06-2006 09:05 AM

So the game starts on Monday 4:00 AM GMT. Not the best time for me, but...

Valier 10-06-2006 09:09 AM

Like I said I can change the time by ONE hour up or down if that makes it any better.

EDIT: By the way the first night the Things nor the Seer get to do anything. I am only allowing the Weaver to ask their questions on Night one. The Things may still converse though at night.

Macalaure 10-06-2006 09:36 AM

Why does the seer not get a dream on Night 1?

Sleepy Ranger 10-06-2006 09:40 AM

I'm sorry but I'll have to back out of this games. Things aren't so good for me at present and I don't know if I'll have enough time. Sorry. :(

Well I thought this over and I thought that since the Things do not get a real switch the first night it would be an unfair advantage to have both the Seer and the Weaver do their thing on the first night. So I decided to even it out a little by having only the Weaver do their thing. If this doesn't seem even to others I can change it so both get their "dreams" the first night.

Sorry to see you go Sleepy :(

Valier 10-06-2006 08:25 PM

I have now sent out all the roles. Please turn yourself invisible if you are not already. If you do not know how to do this just pm me.

The game will begin on Sunday at 10:00pm CST (GMT-6) with a night phase.

P.S I have editted the game thread once again  Please read it through again before the game starts. :)

Actually it's really better that I sit this one out. Besides being very busy I just hit an emotional road block. What little skill I have would be lacking, and I'd probably put on a poor performance.

Have fun in the game, y'all. I'll try to read on as best as I can.

Nogrod 10-07-2006 05:56 PM

Just informing you others in advance.

I will be away the whole of the Day2 due to a minor surgery, unless the hospital has a public net connection (which I doubt).

Thinlómien 10-10-2006 03:35 AM

Assuming I'm alive:

Day #1 and #2 - A vote will come really early. I don't have a net access home so I'm wwing during the breaks and for a while after my schoolday, so the vote is going to come about 15h before deadline (outrageously early, I know).

Later days - I'm in Noggie's place (or visiting his family) and will have a net access so I can vote later, but I will still vote early, the deadline being 7am for me.

Folwren 10-11-2006 03:34 PM

I will be absent Saturday, October 14, Day 3. Out of town guest is coming.

I will also only be here for the afternoon of Monday, October 16, Day 4, provided I survive that long.

-- Jack/Folwren

Volo 10-12-2006 12:34 AM

I'll be away 19-29, I don't know if I can arrange myself an internet connection in Berlin... I doubt that this game will last so long, but the next one will probably be without me.

Gil-Galad 10-13-2006 02:00 AM

many apoligies for missing this day, work ran long (as usual) and hopefully i can post quickly tomorrow, but alas i work again and i shall be working on my Economics essay which is due Monday this weekend, so hopefully i can pop in.

Valier 10-16-2006 03:47 PM

Well it looks like the game is coming to a close. If the last remaining Thing would like they can reveil themself soon and I can end the game with their death tonight or we can wait until tomorrow. It's up to you "guys", no hard feelings from me :D

Diamond18 10-17-2006 01:29 AM

It looks like I'm modding the next game of TIG "senior." I'm going to be silly and try for a game that requires 20 people, so I'm posting here to ask if the next person lined up to mod the Junior game would consider holding off recruitment till my game has players.

JennyHallu 10-17-2006 05:53 AM

Your Friendly Neighborhood WWJ Mod

Hello, I'm the next Mod for TiGJ...

And I will not be holding off recruitment. Folkses is free to go ahead and sign up for what will, unless I am smacked with a brilliant and original idea in the next few days, be a pretty basic game. 3 wolves, 1 seer, other gifteds as I see how many people are interested.

What I will offer you, Di, is the comfortable way these two threads have been meshing. A WWJ game just ended, and so a WW(senior) game is next. My game shall probably not be starting until the completion of Di's, or until none of those who've shown interest in my game are still alive in Di's. Only way something different would happen is if I only get people who are not interested in playing in the current WW(senior) game.

This, besides minimizing the time the boards haven't got any werewolf, will give plenty of time for me and my players to hash out the details of my game. And who knows, maybe that brilliant idea will come along.

Valier 10-18-2006 08:17 AM

So sorry about not getting your death up Menel!! The Downs was down for quite awhile and I just got my computer fixed. I will get the death up today for sures!! I will also post the game stats if anyone is interested. :)

Gil-Galad 10-18-2006 04:02 PM

well i owe Kitana one pizza because i didn't die this WWJ...WHAT IS GOING ON?

Rikae 10-18-2006 05:04 PM

I must say, I'm quite pleased with myself for surviving to the end of my first WW game! *smug self-satisfied grin* *Gollum "got the precious back" dance*.

JennyHallu (if you can forgive me for calling you Boro), would you sign me up for the next game, pleassse? We would appreciate it very much, yes we would, bless us and splash us. :D

Diamond18 10-18-2006 05:08 PM

If I'm the first to sign up for your game, Jenny, does my name get to be at the top of the player's list?

Because I get a childish thrill out of that. :p

Edit: Curses!

JennyHallu 10-18-2006 06:32 PM

I've been thinking of a game involving secret ballots...but am unsure because of the whole PM inbox full thing. Would people be ok emailing me their votes? Any other clever ideas? Thoughts?

Of course people would rep you with their votes... ;)

Diamond18 10-19-2006 08:58 PM

I don't mind using email.

JennyHallu 10-20-2006 05:52 AM

Reps wouldn't work, because you have to have so much time between subsequent reppings of the same person.

I'm really excited about the idea of secret ballots...people could lie about whom they had voted for, you wouldn't know who had voted and who hadn't, you'd have no voting record to go off of. I think that's what I'm going to do.

My email, though, I will send in the roles PMs, just because I'd prefer it were not posted openly on the Downs. Once Di's game is started, I'll pick a name and set up an Admin Thread.

Diamond18 10-20-2006 06:13 AM

Something tells me this is going to cause my brain to explode. Oh, and I already know my role. Kath's role for my game sort of inspried me. I want to be Flower Power. Not "flower power girl" or anything like that, just Flower Power. You can call me Flower for short.

Meneltarmacil 10-20-2006 08:12 AM

Personally, I'm opposed to the secret ballot idea. That would leave us without much to go on, plus where would we be without the usual bandwagoning, inventing excuses, etc.?

JennyHallu 10-20-2006 08:43 AM

Well, what could I do to make this work in your eyes, Menel?

I thought about posting the final vote tally with the deaths...maybe not the names of the voters, but the tally. (Option A)

And perhaps posting a full tally (with voters, but not the order of my receipt of votes) at the end of the day would allow the next day's discussion something to go on, without getting rid of the confusion I'm hoping to cause, since you'd never know the votes at any given time, only the previous votes. (Option B)

Please, please discuss...

EDIT: I wish to make it clear that I would be far more open to option A than B. I'd like to see how a secret-ballot game would work.

Diamond18 10-20-2006 08:53 AM

I'm in favor of the first option. If secret balloting doesn't work, we can always say we at least tried it. We've played so many games on here it's just plain fun to get risky.

Meneltarmacil 10-20-2006 08:57 AM

I would prefer to know who voted for who, personally. But it's your call, Jenny, regardless.
