is Palantiri meant as a hint?

In that case:
Palantiri, because all others or just one item and Palantiri is (usually meant as) 7

was anguirel the only one a mortal never saw or used?
or was the mirror of galadriel the only one not given as a gift to men, or used by men? (OK, so I'm confused!)

Which leads me to guess, Sea Wing, the ship of Tuor & Idril is the only one that wasn't Numenorean in origin, or built/commissioned by a king of Numenor.
