The Sixth Wizard 05-23-2006 03:47 PM

Right-ho, back to work.
My next post (the save, number 58) is about Garnae learning about the other characters. It's also seeing him recover from the loss of his house.
Enjoy!

P.S Is Edhener pronounced 'Ed-he-ner' or it it like the pronunciation in LOTR with 'dh' being pronounced as a soft 'th'?

Crystal Heart 05-23-2006 05:29 PM

Mith that was such a beautiful post of your place. Very stirring.

Cordelia Harrison 05-23-2006 05:43 PM

I have posted in response to your post Sixth Wizard AKA Garnae. :D

Crystal Heart 05-23-2006 08:35 PM

Hama - has anyone seen or heard from Hama?

Dimturiel 05-24-2006 01:45 AM

Sixth Wizard:
Edhener is pronounced "Ed-he-ner". I think it sounds better like this and it also goes well with the character.

I think I'll try to post something later in the day, but I can't promise anything as I have oral examination for CAE(certificate in avanced English) this afternoon, so do exuse me if I am unable to post anything today.

See you later! :)

Glirdan 05-24-2006 02:18 AM

Just letting everyone know that I'll be leaving in about an hour to go on that trip with my school. I'll (hopefully) post something before I have to leave. If you need to carry my character on, be my guest. I'll be back on Friday to continue.

Crystal Heart 05-24-2006 05:24 AM

Glirdan - sounds great. Have a wonderful trip!

Dimturiel - good luck with your examination!

Mithalwen 05-24-2006 12:39 PM

Really hope that Leoflic doesn't turn out to be a Mad Axe murderer ..... I would like to make clear that Elfride is a respectable widow and isn't in the habit of inviting young gentlemen home on such a short aquaintanceship..... :p

Crystal Heart 05-24-2006 12:54 PM

Don't worry about it Mith. We all know that she is a very honorable woman. That is why we so look up to Elfride.

He is around but if he has A-Levels that is major league stress - I am not sure whether you have anything as traumatic :D though, Australia does ....

Since you young folks are larking about a bit - maybe it would make sense for me to modify my post so that Hama went on with Elfride. I will try PMing him to OK this . However if I don't hear back we will have to assume he arrived but with a low profile. :D

Crystal Heart 05-24-2006 01:27 PM

We're coming in slowly. Yep yep.

Sounds like a plan Mith.

Wow, he's playing a general and we're going to give him a low profile?
That and the style of his posts! There's so much authority in Hama's writing, it's going to be a challenge! But I guess, what else can you do, except for maybe get him wounded, or send him away to his burnt-down house or...
Okay time for me to stop rambling. Things to do.

The Sixth Wizard 05-25-2006 12:13 AM

Darnit, sorry Cordelia I think I've got writer's block!

Cordelia Harrison 05-25-2006 05:17 AM

Don't worry about it. :D

Mithalwen 05-25-2006 12:19 PM

OK, Hama hasn't picked up his PM yet.

I am going off line shortly. Once you arrive I will have to interract with my guests and that will mean my posts are less changeable.

Wha tI suggest is that I put up a save. If I hear from Hama or he posts before I will act accordingly. If we don't hear. I suggest that we assume that he will make his way to the farm by himself. Since he is a such an important character it I think it might be better to let him have some business delaying him slightly and le thim make a grand entrance rather than having him tagging along silently and we can't "carry him" without permission. I imagine there is enough connection with Hama and Elfride for him to know the way to the property.

Any comments?

Crystal Heart 05-25-2006 01:39 PM

It sounds like a good idea to me Mith.

Everyone, please put up a save or something. I know that it is Memorial Day weekend for those of us from the State. So if you are going away for the extended weekend please please please put up a save that you will fill in by Tuesday.

Thanks so much!

The Sixth Wizard 05-26-2006 01:57 AM

Been feeling a bit sick lately, it's hard to think straight. Maybe I'll make up some codswallop about Garnae being amazed at how much has happened in a night.
I'll probably wake up on Saturday, think about how I wasn't thinking, and inconvenience everyone involved by completely changing the storyline of my latest post!

Witch_Queen 05-26-2006 10:22 PM

Crystal,

I'll put up a post for Thomas tonight that way Thomas is taken care of for a day maybe.. I'll try to get on again later that way I can see whats going on around him........

The Sixth Wizard 05-27-2006 08:56 PM

A man that can cook, a wierd stroke of writing genius by yours truly :D

When do we have to wrap up the RPG? Because it says 6-8 weeks, are we on track or ahead or behind schedule?

Witch_Queen 05-28-2006 12:05 AM

Crystal,

Just wondering shouldn't atleast some of the group be arriving at Elfride's house some time soon?

Cordelia Harrison 05-28-2006 06:31 AM

Sixth Wiz - that is so darn cool! I love it! Brava. hehehe..

Crystal Heart 05-28-2006 06:33 AM

Yes Adu. Some of the group needs to start RPing that they are at the house.

Sorry for the delay. We have been having internet trouble.

The Sixth Wizard 05-28-2006 10:18 PM

What shall I post next...?

Cordelia Harrison 05-29-2006 08:22 AM

I don't know. That is up to you. I suggest that we make some kind of headway towards the estate, since everyone is there all ready.

Mithalwen 05-29-2006 10:52 AM

I haven't heard from Hama yet so I think we maybe should assume that he will make his own way to Elfride's having had some business to attend to first. Hopefully he will return before much more "game time passes" . I'll go and welcome you in... :D

Mithalwen 05-29-2006 01:27 PM

Err Glirdan ...could you give your horse a different name? My horse is called Leif.... :D but since everyone seems to think htere is a stable boy and not my venerable Steward I will write one in... :p

Glirdan 05-29-2006 08:11 PM

Ha!! I thought I saw that somewhere... hmmm...yes, I'll change the name. Sorry about that.

Crystal Heart 05-30-2006 05:58 AM

I shall post after my therapy, which I must run off to right now. I apologize for the delay.

And has anyone heard from Hama yet?

Mithalwen 05-30-2006 06:02 AM

Nope message still hasn't been collected. It is UK half term this week which may affect his access???

Crystal Heart 05-30-2006 09:05 AM

UK half term? What is that?

Mithalwen 05-30-2006 10:19 AM

Mid term break ?

Crystal Heart 05-30-2006 11:00 AM

Ahh. . .I understand now.

The Sixth Wizard 05-30-2006 08:01 PM

Sorry for another post-less night, I am once again busy, will post on my Thursday afternoon or sooner. Cordelia, you can carry on with the next one, if you haven't already. (I haven't read the RPG thread yet)

Crystal Heart 05-30-2006 08:55 PM

Don't worry about it too much Sixth Wizard.

I will let Cordelia know what you have said.

Crystal Heart 06-01-2006 12:49 PM

All right people we really need to get this RPG into gear. So please start posting.

Thank you. That is my service announcement for the day. :D hehehe...

Mithalwen 06-01-2006 12:56 PM

Hi, I have just heard from Hama.

I have permission to carry along his character this month, if he is allowed "time out".

I really would prefer this option if possible since I think the group dynamic will be out of kilter without him. Given the current speed, I think we should get him back for the main point of the drama.

Crystal, what do you say? *please* :D

Mith

Crystal Heart 06-01-2006 02:01 PM

If he has given you permission then I say of course you have permission to carry on his character.

Thanks for PMing him and then telling us all.

Mithalwen 06-02-2006 11:59 AM

Pio said that it was OK with her if it was OK with you ...so thanks!!! Means Elfride can relax now she isn't the only oldie on the trip... :D

I think I will let Garnae and Cordelia arrive then let him be fashionably late....

Witch_Queen 06-03-2006 10:05 AM

Sorry it took so long to post but I got one up....

Been having internet problems at home so I hope everything is fixed now.....

Crystal Heart 06-04-2006 07:29 AM

Mith - Sounds like a good plan to me.

Adu- don't ya worry about it. I have been having internet problems myself.
