I can understand that people can get busy and that it is not something you can know when you sign up, but I really think this game is taking ridiculously long.

People need to say so if they don't have time to participate or Formy need to take action and move the game along.

Actually, children, we are on to THE Ka--past the Might--and will therefore be on to the second round of the game as soon as THE Ka gets her picture in--and as she's PMed me back and promised it soon, I imagine it will be.

Sorry for that delay, I have startet mechanical engineering at the university of Karlsruhe and the first two semesters are all about getting rid of those not good enough, so I need to stay focused here.
This means that I have little, almost no time for BD. I will try to post here and there though and check the inbox more often. :)

If you don't have much time to visit the Downs, you can set an email notification for PM's (assuming, of course, you check your emails more often than you check the Downs :p). That way you don't miss anything important.

Why do things always break when I need them?
 

I just tried to scan my picture to email Form and my scanner isn't working. :mad: Considering that I was supposed to be in bed 15 minutes ago since I have school tomorrow, it's going to be at least tomorrow evening and most likely Tuesday before I either get my scanner working again or draw something on the computer. I'm so sorry everyone.

Hey, you're doing better than some--you've finished the picture and it's ready to send. At least we know it's coming, eventually.

Still stuck on LadyBrooke--I confess that I'm as forgetful of this of late as anyone. November into December is a heavy time without reminders.

I concur with this plan.

I'm moderately concerned that, if LadyBrooke's issue is school related, bumping her is only going to delay the problem till later--and we are on the verge of holidays for just about everyone now.

I'm going to send her another PM--she was pretty quick with working on the picture after the first one, so maybe she gets email notifications. If she gets back to me, and says she'll have it by Christmas, well and good. If she says move her to another part of the list, well and good. If I don't hear from her by Monday, I'll switch her for another even-number on the list.

Boy, the lines have been down for a long time. :p

Where are we now? I was just thinking if it's really reasonable to go through the second round considering that this has already taken several months. I'm sorry to be such a pessimist, but it doesn't seem likely that we would pick up the pace... With the exception of the odd people staying odd and the even people staying even--so that everybody gets a chance at drawing AND writing, the list can be fluid. But I don't like moving trouble people just because they're slow, because then we'll end with a backlog at the end.

Now, to see if I still have Wilwa's sentence...

EDIT: Sooooo.... yeah, I cleaned out my inbox a long time ago, and while Wilwa's sentence is safe in a document on *my* computer, it's nowhere near me now. If Wilwa wants, and gets it to me today, I can still send it on.
