Important

Please make sure that you have room in your PM boxes!

Bergil 09-04-2005 06:41 PM

maybe I should explain what just happened. I thought it started at 7:30 today, sorry

Gil-Galad 09-04-2005 06:42 PM

you have to be more careful now Bergil, but your dead now...so can i have your stereo?

The Perky Ent 09-05-2005 11:47 AM

Wowzers. This looks like major fun! i'd like to play in the next game! I'll probably have to wait til after all all the villages die :D That is, assuming they can fix the gallows

Azaelia of Willowbottom 09-05-2005 05:56 PM

I should probably post a heads-up here. School starts tomorrow, and that means that I will probably only be able to post twice a DAY except on weekends, due to the fact that I will be in school for six hours and doing homework after. I am sad about that: I have enjoyed postimg more often than my custom. Drat RL. :( (This shouldn't be taken as a "lynch me!", because it's not...it's just a warning: if you see a suspicious drop-off in my posting, it's due to circumstances outside of my control.)

Shelob 09-05-2005 08:48 PM

Like Azaelia (and probably a good number of others) I have school tomorrow and every other weekday. This means I'll probably have time for a quick post or two in the morning (6.30 to 8am) and can be on fairly regularly in the afternoon (earliest 2.30 though more likely 4pm) to whenever.

Please don't hold it against me, school can be bad enough without knowing it got me lynched.

Glirdan 09-05-2005 08:52 PM

Like Azelia and Shelob and others, I also wil be starting school tomorow. I will probably only get a chance to come on once or twice a night. Once to be safe.

Alcarillo 09-06-2005 08:05 AM

I will be gone for school during a major part of the game now, so I'll be posting less. I come back home about an hour before the DAY ends.

Encaitare 09-06-2005 08:17 AM

Not very good form for me to miss my duties, but I will not be around tonight... so your lynching will be done toDay by none other than the fantastic Feanor of the Peredhil (who has officially saved my life). PMs from all Gifteds should still be sent to me. :)

Feanor of the Peredhil 09-06-2005 08:21 AM

Yes, Encai owes me. She's paying me off with a picture of myself. :D

the phantom 09-06-2005 08:22 AM

Not very smart, Enca.

Fea will probably botch it.

Feanor of the Peredhil 09-06-2005 08:23 AM

I should neg-rep you just for saying that. :p

And isn't there a rule somewhere about players posting superfluously here? :D

the phantom 09-06-2005 08:42 AM

That wasn't a superfluous post- it was a desperate plea to the mod not to hand you the reigns.

*insert wink-smilie here*

Folwren 09-06-2005 09:05 AM

If this is where we post about our evident silence, then I've got my excuses, too.

I work three days a week, and on top of that, I've got school......when I'm at home, I have horses that take up all of my time, and, again, school. So, I really have as little time as everybody else here. Well, good, I don't feel quite as out of place now.

- Folwren

Durelin 09-06-2005 04:38 PM

Okay, you've heard this all before, so I'll make it brief.

I go to this imprisoning, mind-numbing, depressing institution called high school. Yeah, I know, it sucks. It sucks so hard, that I find myself sucked into a 7-8 hour day with it+, so...my excuse for being one of the useless people who throw things off in werewolf because there's no point to them.

No offense to anyone. Except me.

And please pretend that was brief.

Encaitare 09-08-2005 06:13 PM

Certain things have been brought to my attention, so I'd like to say a few things:

1. Please don't talk publicly about a current game -- you never know if someone may read it and try to infer things from your words. In other words, keep it to the game thread and this thread.

2. I'm really not feeling the bloodlust in this game! Don't apologize for voting for people before they've even died! That's the whole point of the game! :D No, actually the point I am trying to make here is that you shouldn't talk after voting has closed, until the next Day.

3. If there's any doubt about who is killing whom, it's always listed under "the deceased" for handy-dandy reference. :)

Azaelia of Willowbottom 09-08-2005 06:20 PM

Good game!

Intrigueing to the last. Now that I'm dead, I'm looking forward to see what develops. I've got a few theories, but that's all hush-hush.

And I'm sorry, Enca. Next time I'll try to be more carnal...hehehe. My occupation should have been a warning. I like flowers, not blood.

That being said, I can't wait for WW X...If it's not an invitational, count me in :)

Glirdan 09-08-2005 06:25 PM

Yes, really good game. Sorry to all those I lynched (Alca and Bergil) and those I attacked (Kitanna and Morm). It was in the name of the game.

Yes, likewise. This is an awsome game and I would love to play again.

Gil-Galad 09-08-2005 06:30 PM

i have ideas for the next WW game... it would be interesting if anyone is willing too listen, and i could always co-moderate with somebody

The Saucepan Man 09-08-2005 06:42 PM

I may not be able to play in the next game, as I am out of the country without proper access to the net, from 18 to 23 September.

But I do agree with the idea some have suggested that the 10th game should go back to its roots: 3 Wolves, 1 Seer and 8 ordinary villagers. I do not agree, however, that it should be an "invitational", since that would be somewhat elitist. I suppose that it should be first come first served.

But all in good time. We have a game currently underway and there should be no signing up until that has finished.

Alcarillo 09-08-2005 06:47 PM

So, just wondering, who will be the next game's moderator?

I agree, although I think I'll take a break from the next game.

Formendacil 09-08-2005 06:50 PM

I too will add to the vote for a "back-to-the-basics" game, but while I would like to play it is too early to determine yet if I would be able, so I- if no other- am glad there is currently a moratorium on signing up.

Gil-Galad 09-08-2005 06:51 PM

i might as well sign up for WW X...

You'd best come back when it's time to sign up then, Gil.

Curses! Oh well, I can wait. But I like the way we played this game. I'd rather play it the way we did this time.

Ainaserkewen 09-08-2005 09:43 PM

Goodness gracious the rules have changed since the good old days. There was some talk about going "back to the basics", sounds good to me. I'll play the next game (if I can understand it).

Oh but wait...no signing up yet. You didn't see me. *poof*

Shelob 09-09-2005 02:27 PM

Reclaiming this thread for purposes of announcing when one can and cannot play I'm just letting you all know that I'm busy this evening and again tomorrow morning for an indefinite amount of time. I will be able to post, just not until well into the DAY.

Thanks.

I apologize. I don't like too terrible much violence, therefore I am sorry when I lynch an innocent.

And I'll not post again after the voting is over. Didn't know that was agains the law...I'll keep it in mind, though. :)

Kath 09-09-2005 03:51 PM

I should now be back to full ability to post (stupid parents banning the internet, what were they thinking!?!). Nilp however says that he may be unable to do so tomorrow but will try to get on if he can.

You should be sorry when you lynch an innocent -- I meant that the conversation after the voting was a little weird, because people were saying "no hard feelings, okay?" before the lynching even happened. I wouldn't be sorry beforehand if I thought it was a werecreature I had voted to die.

The Saucepan Man 09-09-2005 05:53 PM

A voice from beyond the grave ...

Please note!

Absolutely no comments should be made about the current game in this thread by players, except for the purpose of notifying or explaining absences.

There is far too much chat flying about concerning this game!

Hey, a double lynch. Come on. I don't think anyone was excpecting that, not even you Enca. When we started Day 3, I was quite aware that I was most likely the one to get lynched. I wasn't at all expecting that bothe me and Zali would have gotten lynched. I do however agree that we should have waited to see what would have happened and then talk about it later. I know I'm contradicting myself here, but that's what I do best, contradict myself. ;)

The Saucepan Man 09-10-2005 09:31 AM

For goodness sake!

That include dead players, Glirdan!

Please refrain from commenting on the game until it is over or you may end up spoiling it.

wilwarin538 09-13-2005 02:26 PM

Alas I have to work tonight till 11pm EST. I will be tired when so will probably not post. Then tomorrow morning my mother is letting me sleep in and then I will be going straight to school, getting me there right before my class starts. I can't go in the computer room with food so I can't post at lunch.

Basically(that is so spelled wrong) what I'm trying to say is that the chances of you hearing from me before 3:30pm EST tomorrow is slim, but not all together impossible. ;)

Have a nice day. :D

WaynetheGoblin 09-13-2005 04:19 PM

My best tooth was pulled out. If you ask me the villigers are doomed. :(

The Saucepan Man 09-13-2005 07:47 PM

How many times!!??

In fact, it applies particularly to dead players ...

Encaitare 09-13-2005 08:51 PM

Obey

Use of this thread for anything while a game is going on other than to explain absences will force me to throw an apple at you, regardless of what a waste of good fruit it is.

(Hey, it's better than Sauce throwing a pan at you -- it'll hurt less, and you can eat it afterwards.)

The Saucepan Man 09-14-2005 06:19 PM

Any volunteers to moderate Werewolf X? It should be someone who has a reasonable amount of experience at the game.

The Perky Ent 09-14-2005 06:26 PM

Well...I don't know if it's time to bring this up yet, but I'd like to play on WWX. I've been watching IX since its start, and I wanna do it justice.

If not, sorry to waste a post :D

Boromir88 09-14-2005 06:49 PM

I'd be interested in Joining X. I hope One game is considered a reasonable amount  .
