paavo 02-11-2005 10:11 AM

The correct answer is ( of course ;) ) Artamir! His unfortunate death made it possible for Aragorn to claim the title of the king and unite Arnor and Gondor. Next letter please :p

Nilpaurion Felagund 02-13-2005 05:41 PM

Oooh . . .

Didn't see that one coming. Tricksy, paavo. ;)

Nilpaurion Felagund 02-13-2005 06:24 PM

Firefoot would get it.

Yes, it is Artanis!

Your thread.

Firefoot 02-13-2005 06:59 PM

my anwser was Mahtan, who taught Feanor the skills of a craftsman but later regrets it because feanor created the Silmarils which led to the flight of the Noldor

Nilpaurion Felagund 02-28-2005 09:56 PM

So your brain *does* hurt.

I thought this is all quite normal to you. Y'know, doing quiz stuff while eating, or while doing the laundry, or . . .

Ahem.

Yes. Well, at least it proves that even one of the most masterful Quizzies can be hurt. :)

Enough with the flattering. Give the bloody answer.

It's Mablung. He got his name after the quest of the Silmaril, as he was the chap who plucked the shiny pebble from Carcharoth's roasted innards, and his hands was weighed down holding the not-quite-light Silmaril. Hence, Heavy Hand.

Nächtse Buchstabe, bitte. :)

Firefoot 03-01-2005 06:26 AM

There's a compliment in there somewhere... Thanks.
