Earendil Halfelven 05-11-2003 08:34 PM

If its not Gimli in Moria or in Helms Deep, then is it when he is in Fangorn?

Firondoiel 05-11-2003 08:35 PM

Correct! Your turn.

Earendil Halfelven 05-13-2003 06:06 PM

Here ya go!

Firondoiel 05-13-2003 08:48 PM

The conversation between Frodo and Gandalf right before the walls of Moria in the lovely extended version of FOTR.

Earendil Halfelven 05-13-2003 09:13 PM

Firondoiel wins! Ahhh...I knew it was an easy one.

Firondoiel 05-15-2003 09:16 PM

Don't give up on me. It's too late for me to post a picture tonight. I'll go hunting for a hard one tomorrow. Sorry about the wait.

Firondoiel 05-16-2003 06:45 PM

Good luck!

elven maiden Earwen 05-16-2003 07:21 PM

fireworks?

Samwise 05-16-2003 07:57 PM

Just to be different, I'll say the rocket Merry and Pippin sent up just before it turned into a "dragon"?

Helkahothion 05-17-2003 04:31 AM

I think the correct answer is already given so I say: Sauron when he is happy?

Earendil Halfelven 05-17-2003 12:20 PM

yeah, that is the firework that Gandalf shoots off that blows up into all those little white rocket things.

Firondoiel 05-18-2003 01:15 PM

I'm going to let Earwen go since she said fireworks first and no one got the specific one. It was the very first one Gandalf set off.

elven maiden Earwen 05-18-2003 05:36 PM

ok thanks

The Saucepan Man 05-18-2003 06:42 PM

Is that when Sauron first appears in the Last Alliance battle in the Prologue and sends out a shock wave, knocking Elves and Men alike flying?

GaladrieloftheOlden 05-18-2003 06:44 PM

Is this Saruman's army in TTT?

~Menelien

elven maiden Earwen 05-19-2003 09:16 PM

Mr. Saucy is correct

The Saucepan Man 05-20-2003 07:49 AM

OK, what's this one all about then?

http://www.ringzone.net/images/movie...oduction_5.jpg

lothiriel 05-20-2003 11:30 AM

I think it´s the Balrog and Gandalf in Moria, I think it´s in TTT.

The Saucepan Man 05-20-2003 12:46 PM

No and no.

Eruanna 05-20-2003 03:58 PM

It looks like the deep pit at Isenguard, just before we are taken on a sort of roller coaster ride down into the depths, to see Saruman's Uruk-hai hatchery.

The Saucepan Man 05-20-2003 05:43 PM

No, not Isengard.

I think that my response to Lothíriel may have been slightly misleading. It is in Moria, but it's not the Balrog scene and it's not in TTT.

elven maiden Earwen 05-20-2003 06:06 PM

Is it in the extended FOTR when Gandalf and Legolas look down a mine thingy?

Samwise 05-20-2003 06:07 PM

Er........It's not the well that Pippin sent the suit of armor down, is it?

Earendil Halfelven 05-20-2003 07:26 PM

Is it when the orcs are coming? *doom, doom, doom* drums in the deep

Arwen Evenstar the Fair 05-20-2003 08:44 PM

Maybe a Shelob scene.... probably not, but hey it can't hurt to try.

Tasslehoff_55 05-20-2003 09:42 PM

hum... is it something with Smaug? i dunno, i is stumped.

GaladrieloftheOlden 05-21-2003 01:33 AM

Err... Shelob and Smaug weren't in FotR

~Menelien

Arwen_Evenstar 05-21-2003 02:13 AM

That's not a Balrog?
Huh, looks like one....
Ok, Ill take a stab at it...just ignoring what you said before ....

Is it when the fire is behind them in Moria? When they're running, after gandalf says it's a Balrog?

It really looks like one!
~nat~

Eruanna 05-21-2003 06:53 AM

Is that Gollum in the right foreground? It's shadowy, but I think that's the little dear looking down the shaft.

Or maybe it's just a goblin/orc

The Saucepan Man 05-21-2003 11:01 AM

Bingo! Eruanna is correct. It was Gollum that I was looking for. Although he's difficult to make out, the picture is of him spying on the Fellowship in Moria.

Your go, Eruanna.

Eruanna 05-21-2003 04:00 PM

Thanks....here's an easy one....I hope it works!

Funeral of Boromier. When 3 hunters decide to follow Merry, Pip and Urk-Hai.

Eruanna 05-22-2003 12:13 PM

Yes, that's right.
I didn't realise until I saw the movie for the second time that Aragorn had taken Boromir's wrist band thingies....I hadn't noticed the White Tree emblem.

The Saucepan Man 05-22-2003 07:00 PM

Just a warning to those posting questions here. With some pictures, you can get some information on which scene they are from by right clicking, choosing Properties and looking at the URL Address. I try to find pictures that don't give any such hint to the answer.

Samwise 05-27-2003 08:09 PM

Uh....Gimli at Balin's tomb?

elven maiden Earwen 05-27-2003 09:29 PM

nope

GaladrieloftheOlden 05-27-2003 09:35 PM

Uh.. random... Isildur writing down the thingy about the ring? Or Legolas in Lorien?

~Menelien

elven maiden Earwen 05-27-2003 09:56 PM

yes it was legolas but wrong sence try again.

GaladrieloftheOlden 05-27-2003 10:28 PM

Council of Elrond?

~Menelien
