Oh, and riding boots, there has to be a pair of travel-stained riding boots!

I am unable to reveal a thing about it of course. :p But I've had it since August!

Half of the problem is in deciding where to hold the day, all I know is I don't want it in the summer, and there needs to be a Homer cake. ;)

You can PM me, I swear I won't tell anyone.

And I give up -- a "Homer cake"? Do you mean something like this?

If so, might I respectfully suggest something more like this with the message suitably altAred for the occasion. (Wish I'd been invited to Ralph's party.)

That's exactly the kind of cake I mean. Though davem saw a ready made one in Tesco for £5.99 which is a marvellous price. Ahem. :p

You know, we could have porridge, along with cake, and I could do some further experimentation with Legolas action figures...

I have to say I've spent the last few months laughing to myself about various surreal options for entrance and exit music, modes of transport and notions of bizarre entertainments but I'd better not say any more or davem will be having nightmares later.

Could be the cheapest wedding reception ever.. lol -literally a wedding breakfast...

I am anxious that if you aren't careful it could rival the long expected nuptials of one of my dearest friends. I bought so many clothes justified by the promise that it would be next spring next autumn..... Nothing wrong with the relationship - I think they are so secure that legalising it hasn''t been a priority.. but house moves, courses, job changes, IVF and subsequent birth of twins all have pushed it back. Now she thinks it may be next year to coincide with her fortieth birthday. She bought her dress in about 1998 .........
