:D:D:D <- All there is to say, really! Wonderful! Welcome back and welcome for the first time to each of you respectively.

Estelyn Telcontar 07-11-2005 07:02 AM

Welcome indeed, Mrs. Istarion! It's a pleasure to greet you here, and seeing your picture makes it plain why your husband has spent less time with us recently - you're lovely! :) We hope you will enjoy our site for his sake at first, then when you've had a chance to get to know us, for our own.

Fordim Hedgethistle 07-11-2005 07:21 AM

Congratulations indeed to both Mr and Mrs Istarion.

I've gotta say, though, she's too good for you, man! :p

Bêthberry 07-11-2005 07:24 AM

Well, I am so pleased to see that in fact the wizards can marry. :D

And, you two have made an even greater pun of our first user level, "Newly Deceased". :D

I look forward to many interesting posts from you, Mrs. I, but I hope you take some time to look around before Heren shows you the C-thread. The Role playing forums would be an ideal place to start!

Welcome and congratulations and don't let our cast of characters daunt you at all!

Raefindel 07-11-2005 11:38 AM

Congratulations to you both! And my sincerest wishes for a lifetime of love, joy and happiness together.

Welcome to the Downs Mrs Istarion!

Orominuialwen 07-11-2005 02:50 PM

Congratulations to you both! May you have many happy years ahead of you. It's great to see you back, HI and to meet you for the first time, Mrs. Istarion!

Lhunardawen 07-11-2005 10:32 PM

Finally, a BD prediction has come true!

You've been sorely missed over here, HI. And welcome to the Downs, Mrs. Istarion (as predicted your name would be)! :) Hope you would enjoy this site as much as your husband (apparently) does.

Don't forget to check on the Werewolf games in Middle Earth Mirth... and maybe next time you could join, too! :D (Shameless plug, Lhuna... *clicks tongue*)

Encaitare 07-12-2005 08:28 AM

Welcome, Mrs. Istarion! Hope you like it here. :)

Among other interesting things yours truly spotted on her bookshelf when being guest at her house for the first time was Silmarillion.
Not LoTR or the Hobbit mind you, but the Silmarillion! A very good sign, I'd say. Was the binding a bit cracked, or perhaps the pages worn and dog-earred?

You've made a favorable impression, my dear Mrs. Istarion.

Thanks everybody very much for warm welcome and kind wishes. Regarding Hobbit and LoTR, um…., they stood actually behind Silmarillion on the shelf :)

Kath 07-13-2005 05:42 AM

Very belated congratulations to you both and a warm welcome to Mrs. Istarion.

The Squatter of Amon Rûdh 07-13-2005 08:30 AM

For in what stupid age or nation...

...was marriage ever out of fashion?

I've just been made aware of this happy event. My warmest congratulations to you both; may you remain as ludicrously happy as you appear to be.

Welcome, Mrs. Istarion, to our humble bag of mixed nuts. Perhaps enlightening we dreadful denizens will become a family business.

Mister Underhill 07-16-2005 08:18 PM

Heavens, I don't know how I overlooked this happy news! Belated -- but heartfelt -- congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Istarion. May you enjoy many long years of happiness together.

And a warm welcome to the Downs to the Missus. I look forward to getting to know you.

HerenIstarion 07-18-2005 01:28 AM

Thank you, kind ladies and gentlemen :)

If it would not be too daring of me to request a little more of your time, you are cordially invited to see some pictures here: http://www.geocities.com/gl_century/...l/wedding.html

:D

Lhunardawen 07-18-2005 01:57 AM

HI, it says the site is temporarily unavailable...

HerenIstarion 07-18-2005 02:18 AM

That's free hosting and its downsides. More than five visitors in a row eat up the bandwidth in no time at all. Try again in some twenty minutes :)

EDIT: Well, I've just upgraded to add-free site with 5Gb of bandwidth. It should be working allright now, so jump on the bandwagon ;)

Orominuialwen 07-18-2005 07:28 PM

What lovely pictures! The two of you look so happy. Once again, many congratulations! :)

Edit: HI, you look like you could be a fifth (or sixth, or seventh) Beatle with that hair of yours! Very nice. ;)

Encaitare 07-18-2005 10:38 PM

Great pictures! It looks like a beautiful ceremony. And I'm ever so jealous that you went on that slingshot thing -- it looks fun!

Heren's got a tattoo.... :p

piosenniel 07-19-2005 03:06 AM

Yes, lovely photojournal, HI!

And hello to Mrs. Istarion! Welcome to the Downs!

I noticed the tattoo, too

What is it?

Durelin 07-19-2005 01:59 PM

A beautiful couple you are.

Rumil 07-19-2005 04:43 PM

Many Congratulations Mr and Mrs Istarion !!!

( I did have a sneaking suspicion that you might turn out to be from Nottingham and the whole Georgian thing was a double bluff. However, as my chief suspect is not getting married in Paris until August, I see the error of my ways, and could really have checked the photo page!)

Its a great year for weddings, may you have all the luck in the world,

Cheers,

Rumil

Lhunardawen 07-19-2005 09:56 PM

Myopic Lhuna sees no tattoo...

Wonderful pictures, HI! :) And Enca, ditto for the slingshot. I was squirming in jealousy when I saw that picture.

You can see it on his arm, in the picture in which the Istarions ( ;) ) are in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Lhunardawen 07-19-2005 10:50 PM

:o

Found it.

But what is it indeed, HI?

The snake's tail higher than eagle implyed possibility of pride to overrule reason. But that were inner considerations, outwardly reasons given were like 'it helps me with the ladies' ;)

Lhunardawen 07-20-2005 12:32 AM

I see. :)

So did it help you with Mrs. Istarion? ;)

HerenIstarion 07-20-2005 01:20 AM

I suppose so. We met at the sea two years back, where I were with my 'What? Where? When?" team at the South Caucasus Championship (see, there was a war between Azebaijan and Armenia some years back, and they do not visit each other, hence, if some enterprise takes place with triple participation, it is usually in Georgia) and she was just on vacation.

First time we saw each other, I was, besides being tattoed, also 'bandanned' and in a company of equally 'bandanned' chaps of the similar bearing (we have a superstition of playing on SCC heavily 'bandanned', not that it helped us win it yet, though) she at first thought we were some rock band or something :D. Do rock bands attract girls?

But we better ask her herself, though :). I hope she finds the time to log in and see this, seeing as they have audit at the moment in the office she works at

Doubtless, together with intelligence of HI, it seemed very attractive, especially on the sea :p .

Feanor of the Peredhil 07-20-2005 07:41 AM

Bandanna? Sea? Tattoo?

... Pirate?

Very cool tat, Heren. And yes... rockers do attract women. It's something about the good girls like bad boys thing. Or just to annoy their older brothers. Whatever works. :D

mark12_30 07-20-2005 07:49 AM

With or without the tatoo and bandana, Mrs. Istarion, you are (as you doubtless know) a deeply blessed lady. For several years I have enjoyed H-I's friendship, kindness, spirituality, humor, chivalry, and courtesy. I hold him in very high regard, and I wish you and he all the best, from the depths to the heights.

Encaitare 07-20-2005 12:57 PM

Pirate indeed!

Sounds cool, Heren. I like the symbolism -- seems like you thought it out pretty well.

Hear, hear!

Congratulations, old chap, to you and Mrs Istarian on your new arrival! And what a lovely little Istar he is too. :D

You're in for quite a time of it, I can assure you, but I can equally assure you that it is well worth all the effort for the joy he will bring you. And be sure to make the most of it - they grow up so quickly.
