Rikae 03-25-2009 01:30 PM

I am:

a traditional dish in both the United States and the United Kingdom, although the meaning of me is quite different in each country. In the United States, I am usually a dessert consisting of a fruit filling poured into a large baking dish over a batter that rises through when baking. In the United Kingdom I am usually a savoury meat dish, typically a lamb casserole (or would that be mutton now?), which is covered with a savoury scone-like topping—each scone (or biscuit) forming a separable Rikae. Fruit-based versions are also increasingly popular in the United Kingdom—although they still retain the separate biscuit topping of the meat version—and savoury or meat versions are not unknown in the United States.

*cough* sublety mace *cough*

I believe we could do with a bit less conspicuous behavior, eh?

P.S. That was....amazing, by the way. :)

Durelin 03-25-2009 01:36 PM

I hate you all for increasing my sinus headache and making me hungry.

Should we just lynch Rikae and get it over with? Right, unless that activates her blinding...darkness.

And stop crying "fire", Nilp.

Back to Aristophanes. I really must...

Even Parmenides would make more sense than this game. :)

Feanor of the Peredhil 03-25-2009 01:39 PM

Really concerned.

Shan't defend Rikae if she insists she's edible. After all, there was a clause.

Better to seek duck.

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-25-2009 01:44 PM

I love you, too, Durelin.

Taking a quick hop to Rome...I think I understand the Satyricon better.

Edit: You make me sad, dear Nilp. Especially since you don't have any retractions left... ;)

Mithalwen 03-25-2009 01:45 PM

Yes Duck is better.... and wooo everyone came out of the woodwork.... just when I got bored and went to check on something else.... hey ho.... but better a shoemaker than an innocent....

Or Nilp could simply be protecting his mother. But I need to look up this fibonnacci thing..I didn't get beyong fib...

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-25-2009 01:57 PM

Don't worry, dear, I haven't hurt you. ;)

Oh, and mother, the Fibonacci thing was nothing, I just wanted one more vote.

Isabellkya 03-25-2009 02:00 PM

Oh my.

I really don't understand the near hysteria that seems to be on the edge of things.

I think we should just lynch Rikae and be done with it. What ever her supposed/inferred special bomb thing is, can't be worse than her being alive influencing and helping the Duckies.

X'd with Nilp and fixed tag.

Nogrod 03-25-2009 02:00 PM

Sally, could we make a triple-lynch? Just toDay? Please!

These specials are making me crazy with their multi-layered scheming!

The difference between Rikae and Nilp / Mith and Fea, is that the latter two claim to be on our side. Of course, this does not mean they are. Rikae and Nilp don't look like they're on our side, but does that mean they aren't? In Nilp's case I could indeed imagine that he needs to be lynched in order for us to benefit (then again, maybe he has to be lynched so that the duck(s) benefit in some way), but I have a hard time believing that Rikae has the best of the village in mind. I don't think of her as a duck or related to one, though. The question is therefore, do we want to lynch a likely cobbler? With three ducks dead already, we might be able to afford wasting the kill.

Rikae 03-25-2009 02:07 PM

Yay! Triple lynch!

Haha, try me. ;)

Rikae 03-25-2009 02:11 PM

That's right, Mac, you can afford to waste the lynch. ;)

I recall a game where a practically known cobbler was left until the end, because everyone kept thinking they had time before his vote would matter...

EDIT: X'd with an icon-thief. Hmph!

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-25-2009 02:16 PM

Mistress, I've been using it for quite a while now. So, shall I say the reverse is true? :p

Do you care if I don't know what to say? Will you sleep tonight, or will you think of me?

Anyway, I, like Durie dear, am hungry. *off for some pie* * ;) at phantom*

Rikae 03-25-2009 02:21 PM

I first used it on Day 1, post 151. :p

Durelin 03-25-2009 02:23 PM

As long as you don't go beating my game's quadruple-lynch record. :p

You can annoy even your most devoted acolyte you know?

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-25-2009 02:31 PM

I've been using it before you were even a member. :p

. . .

What do you mean that doesn't count?! *pouts*

Anyway, I thought WWIV had a quintuple-lynch, but apparently, it was just a triple. :(

Rikae 03-25-2009 02:36 PM

Unless this game was started before I was a member... and long before Sally was...

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-25-2009 02:38 PM

*pouts* I lose. *commits seppuku*

Durelin 03-25-2009 02:42 PM

Poor Nilp. No self-vote at a time like this.

Yes, and it was glorious! :D

Hmmmm. That sounds like a challenge.

Single lynch rule suspended for toDay. Mwahahahaha!

Rikae 03-25-2009 02:59 PM

Yay! How about we lynch everybody?

Nilpaurion Felagund 03-25-2009 03:00 PM

You heard the Moddess. Quintuple-lynch it is.

I think not.

the phantom 03-25-2009 03:01 PM

I forced a five-way tie in one of Fea's games with only a few seconds left until the deadline.

But Sauce ruined it and broke the tie.

satansaloser2005 03-25-2009 03:02 PM

Of course if you all completely screw this up and manage to end the game toDay I will be quite cross. I'm just sayin'.

Mithalwen 03-25-2009 03:05 PM

Oooh so tempting Miss Moddess...

As some day it may happen that some victims must be found,
I've got a little list--I've got a little list
Of society offenders who might well be underground,
And who never would be missed--who never would be missed!

Isabellkya 03-25-2009 03:09 PM

Hm.

I say we go with a double lynch. Of Rikae and Nilp. Both with Cobbler DNA, and both are trying to look Cobblery.

o.O

satansaloser2005 03-25-2009 03:10 PM

Incidentally, Kath is currently unable to access the Downs due to internet problems, so until she returns she is off the lynch block. Just sayin'. Carry on.

Durelin 03-25-2009 03:11 PM

I wonder what the end of toDay is going to look like. Probably half the votes in at exactly 10:00 pm CT...and think of the retractions....

Macalaure 03-25-2009 03:11 PM

Rikae, Nilp, and who else? ;)

What Durelin didn't mention was that that quadruple lynching was staged exclusively by ordos - and killed exclusively ordos. In other words, on this very day, we have been given the unique opportunity to screw up big and thoroughly. :D

Isabellkya 03-25-2009 03:14 PM

I can't seem to decide whether or not people have really lost their minds.

Durelin 03-25-2009 03:14 PM

Yes, four brave ordos made a pact...it was epic. :D

With two cobblers in the game, no less...
