P.s Nice to have you aboard Wilwa and Nogrod!;)

Nogrod 03-25-2006 10:55 AM

All those who have being dropped from the Nilp's game: this is your chance to continue gaming! Some of you have already made the sensible decision...

That is to say, consider:

Anguirel, an Ordinary Villager, was massacred by were-hedgehogs on the second NIGHT.
Eonwe, an Ordinary Villager, was struck by lightning, struck by lightning! on the second DAY.
dancing spawn of ungoliant, a Seer, was taken away on the third NIGHT.
Kath, a Werewolf, was accidentally strangled on the third DAY
Lhunardawen, the Werewolf Beloved, died with his Lover on the third DAY
Eomer of the Rohirrim, an Ordinary Villager, was poked with woodwinds on the fourth NIGHT.
the guy who be short, an Ordinary Villager, was stuffed into a tree-frog on the fourth DAY.
Glirdan, an Ordinary Villager, was consumed by fire from the Mod God on the fourth DAY.
Celuien, an Ordinary Villager, was 'Freud' alive on the fifth NIGHT.
SamwiseGamgee, a Werewolf, was shot by Gurthang on the fifth DAY.
tar-ancalime, an Ordinary Villager, went to the future on the sixth NIGHT.
littlemanpoet, a Seer, was crushed by a boulder on the sixth NIGHT.

Sleepy Ranger 03-25-2006 10:58 AM

After no consideration what so ever I have decided to join >_>... again! >_>
Pardon my inconsistency but I shall stay this time. Why? Because I believe Wilwa wants revenge on me for what happened in WWJ II and no reason to not give her a chance to have her revenge.

So Sleepy Ranger is in! :)

wilwarin538 03-25-2006 11:41 AM

I do want revenge for WWJII, but not against you Sleepy. Eonwe was the one who dreamt of me and revealed my wolfishness. Why would I want revenge against you?

Because of my tom-foolery, arrogance, awesomeness and that double-lynch which could've lost us the game?

And not to mention trying to upstage you and Rune whenever I could... ;)

I the MOD-GODDESS am now declaring THERE WILL BE RETRACTABLE VOTES, BUT NO DOUBLE LYNCHINGS, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF NONPARTICIPATION. I WILL "KILL" PEOPLE WHO DO NOT VOTE OR POST TWO DAYS CONSECUTIVELY.

I have added you Sleepy to the list...welcome aboard...again!:p
I have also added you Kath! nice to have you playing!:)

Kath 03-25-2006 12:09 PM

Hey all, Nogrod convinced me so if there is still room count me in.

Roa_Aoife 03-25-2006 01:10 PM

Well, let's see. Thus far I've been an apothecary, a protestor, and a baby-sitter.... I think this game I'll do my dream job- a folklorist.

Sleepy Ranger 03-25-2006 01:13 PM

I shall be none other than your town wizard who sends you off on dangerous quests against your will! :D

Valier 03-25-2006 02:44 PM

I don't know about a wizard Sleepy. It is a hobbit settlement and I'm not sure that will work. How bout an alchemist? I just don't think hobbits were wizards....;)

Who said anything about being a hobbit?

Valier 03-25-2006 05:17 PM

It is a HOBBIT settlement Sleepy! Please choose an occupation that would suit a hobbit.:smokin:

I don't recall reading Gandalf as a hobbit... I said I'll be the Gandalf type character...

Valier 03-25-2006 05:27 PM

I don't think you get it Sleepy! ALL the players in MY game MUST be HOBBITS!!! So there would be no Gandalf type character.

Nogrod 03-25-2006 05:34 PM

I have a problem with my occupation. I've been a tobacco-weed grower already and could now be the ale brewer. But Roa's folklorist made me think of a florist...

So, Valier, please choose the one that seems to suit the overall village better - or which you think, would be more suitable occupation for me.

And a note to all. I will be very busy on monday and tuesday (here in Europe, +2 GMT), and so won't be posting much in the first day - if this starts on monday. So just consider it as one reason not to lynch me because of a very different gaming-style on my part on the first day... :D

And anyhow, which will be the deadlines? In GMT, please.

Bah! Hobbits! If I have to be a Hobbit I may as well be the mayor! :)

Valier 03-25-2006 05:39 PM

Both of those occupations work fine Nogrod....But ever given thought to being a podiatrist, seeing as it is a hobbit village?:p

THE START TIME WILL BE: 7PM CST, 8PM EST,1AM GMT.
I will only start the game when we have at least fifteen players.

And 3am Sleepy Ranger Time, just so that everyone knows I'll vote early.

I could be that one too... But maybe the ale brewer would be just fine. If you would like me to be the florist or the podiatrist, they go down well too.

Thanks for the times! Although they will be 3AM here, so I probably won't be voting at the last hours, unless it is a weekend. :)

If we want to start on monday, we'll have some recruiting to do. How actively do you think we others should try to PM players into this one?

Valier 03-25-2006 06:46 PM

Ok, Ok you have tugged at my heart strings....I will make the time,5:00pm Cst
6:00pm EST, 11:00pm GMT. Is this correct? I am CST, let me know if this works better. I will not be changing it again though, that is as early as I can make it.:D

From my point of view, this sounds very nice indeed! If it really gets tough at the late-hours, it would still be just 1 AM here! With retractable votes the timing is more important. But where is the majority of gamers coming from?

Anyhow, this sounds fine with me.

There will be retractable votes
No double lynching
The Day and Night Phases will begin and end at? TBA

wilwarin538 03-25-2006 09:09 PM

That time is fine for me. A little bit of a warning here. On tuesdays I will be voting either very late or not at all. There will also be a day during the week that I will have to vote very early, because of work. But I'm hoping my work nights fall on Game Nights, then voting won't be a problem. So anyway I'll let you guys no ahead of time.

I shall be the town berry picker, very exciting job. ;)

Diamond18 03-25-2006 09:24 PM

Um, Valier, I hate to be difficult, but 5 PM CST isn't really good for me. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I would have to vote at least 5 hours early in order to get in. But if you extended it to 6 PM CST there's a chance I could get a vote in close to the line on those days.

We already know your last instance appearings... :D

But anyhow, from the European perspective, that one more hour is just fine. But I don't know, how impartial these judgements are...

Alcarillo 03-25-2006 09:39 PM

I've decided to join the game, at the request of one of the participants. I've never played a junior game before, though.

The times, however, are a little hard for me to work with. I get out of school just at the time each day or night would end. So I shall support Diamond18's suggestion for a 1 hour later time.

As for an occupation, I shall be a fisherman, if the village happens to be close to a river.

Eonwe 03-25-2006 09:45 PM

Yes! Count me in!

As my time as a wayfareing stranger was cut short in the last game, I will see what luck brings my way this time.

Valier 03-25-2006 10:33 PM

I may change the time to fit with the majority of the players. I will wait till we have a full roster before I choose the exact time.

PLEASE BE AWARE: Naria will be my co-mod for this game. Her word must be followed if I am unavailable. Please feel free to pm me or her with any questions.

I have added two more players....Welcome!!

Farael 03-25-2006 11:05 PM

Hey Valier.... you can count me in... the only thing is that if the village is over-booked I shall forfeit my spot for whoever wants in as I'll also be modding WW XX

Valier 03-25-2006 11:09 PM

YYYYAAAAA Farael!!! Glad to see you could make it! I suppose JennyHallu you might want to play since Farael will be here:p

We need at least three more players before we start!

Glirdan 03-26-2006 09:28 AM

I'm definetly in. As for occupation... I'll be the barman at the local Inn.

Kath 03-26-2006 10:22 AM

Occupation, hmm . . . ale-drinker!

JennyHallu 03-26-2006 10:46 AM

I'm thinking this is a hobbit community with a very healthy nightlife...are drunk werewolves as effective?

Kath 03-26-2006 10:50 AM

A bit sloppy perhaps, but wolves can run faster than hobbits even when inebriated, so long as they run in the right direction!

Valier 03-26-2006 12:21 PM

I have asked JennyHallu if she would care to play, since Farael will be in my game. I would like one more besides her to start. I still need occupations from

Teleperaca
Kitanna
Eonwe
Farael
Garin

The game will likely start on Tuesday!! WE NEED 2 MORE PLAYERS!!!

To forewarn everyone, we will start with a DAY phase! The Cats will pm till my death.

Nogrod 03-26-2006 01:06 PM

I tried to persuade Lommy in. She will probably made her decision tomorrow (in about 20 hours) from now.

Diamond18 03-26-2006 01:15 PM

Well, well, Noggie, Kath, and Glirdan. It seems we'll be spending a lot of time in the local tavern together. :p

*looks around* I don't think I've met Formendabras Took.

Nogrod 03-26-2006 01:31 PM

I'll provide the ale, Glirdan will tend it, with the help of Diamond, and Kath will drink it! That's just fun! We will be the merry foursome at the town...
