Gil-Galad 08-23-2006 01:13 PM

Elfhelm?

shieldmaiden4xsword 08-28-2006 03:32 PM

no......that was the name of one of the Riders of the Rohirrim. Not Eowyn.

Rune Son of Bjarne 08-28-2006 03:33 PM

Eowyn was called Dernhelm

shieldmaiden4xsword 08-28-2006 03:40 PM

not the name I was thinking of, though. ;)

Rune Son of Bjarne 08-28-2006 03:56 PM

Glirdan 08-28-2006 04:09 PM

shieldmaiden4xsword 08-28-2006 04:21 PM

Samwise Gamgee

Gil-Galad 08-30-2006 02:39 PM

Dimturiel 09-19-2006 12:16 AM

I know it can't be this, but...

Is it Sam?

Gil-Galad 09-19-2006 08:24 AM

Samwise the Brave?

shieldmaiden4xsword 11-25-2006 04:25 PM

no.

Thinlómien 11-30-2006 03:38 AM

A hint?

shieldmaiden4xsword 11-30-2006 02:01 PM

it's Sindarin.

The Might 12-17-2006 05:15 PM

aha...trick one, since there is not only one, but two answers
the Sindarin name for Samwise, or half-wise would be Perhael
however in a letter Aragorn sends to Sam published in HOME9 he is named Panthael meaning full-wise, in recognition for his actions durinf the War of the Ring

Nilpaurion Felagund 06-20-2008 11:43 PM

Nerwen 06-21-2008 07:53 AM
