Personally, I think Smaug has a lot of secret fans and will win this. Anyone who supports another candidate should think quite carefully now.
Praps there might be a connection between dwarf-lynching and the silence of the dragon, gollum.

Well, this is extremely late (I got caught busy again. Evil exams!! :mad: ), but, here's the, quick, vote.

The votes got tallied and the Eagle Lord Gwaihir was to be the one voted out, or should I say eaten, that Day. "We don't need Gandalf friends hanging around here!!' So, they tied him up, tied him to a stick and cooked him...rotiserri style!!

mormegil 02-07-2006 07:17 PM

++Belladona Took

Again!

Eonwe 02-07-2006 08:42 PM

++Elrond

We have had quite enough of his nose blowing!

Anguirel 02-08-2006 01:09 AM

The foul destroyeress of protected species deserves no mercy.

++BELLADONNA EAGLE-EATER

Lalaith 02-08-2006 02:55 AM

We've got too many villains in the final, like I said before.

I'll go for
++CHIEF WARG

Doesn't have Smaug's glamour or William's bumbling appeal.

Can't argue with that. And I remain concerned that he has a lot of support and is therefore a serious contender for the prize.

++ THE CHIEF WARG

Anyone who would suffer his kind to be ridden by Goblins deserves no respect.

Tuor of Gondolin 02-08-2006 06:49 AM

Since rumor has it a descendant of his
wanted to not only eat a cute little girl in a
red hood but also her grandmother! :eek:

+ + The Chief Warg

Holbytlass 02-08-2006 07:50 AM

I don't want him to win either, and he doesn't clean up after himself on walks.

++The Chief Warg

Kuruharan 02-08-2006 09:18 AM

I hereby honor my earlier promise to Lalaith.

++ The Chief Warg

...even though I probably would have voted for him anyway. ;)

arcticstorm 02-08-2006 09:25 AM

i Will have to side with anti-took league++Belladonna

Anguirel 02-08-2006 09:40 AM

Don't let the Saucie/Kuru alliance of doom have their way.

Let them taste a little defeat. It'll be good for them.

Vote Belladonna to champion the forces of Downer democracy, stop the cruel animal tormentors and safeguard the glorious race of Wargs!

JennyHallu 02-08-2006 10:16 AM

I don't know, Ang, Belladonna is the only girl left. Every good Survivor keeps a girl in at least until the final four...I vote we keep her around for a while.

Meanwhile...my pyro tendencies say dragons are cool, I always wanted to cuddle poor William...I'm going to have to say...

++Chief Warg

Besides, he has bits of dwarf stuck in his teeth. Very uncouth.

Anguirel 02-08-2006 11:19 AM

Where is the Warg and the Rider?

Where is the Thread that was Growing?

Lalaith 02-08-2006 11:37 AM

I saw what you did up there, Ang. *points* A low trick.

Anguirel 02-08-2006 11:39 AM

Rather a High one actually...

Belladonna has been my vote since the beginning... I fear that I cannot count as a reinforcement.

Let us place our hope in Eomer... though it seems a fool's hope...

Formendacil 02-08-2006 12:43 PM

Hmm... forgot to vote...

++ Belladonna, Warg-Hater, Took

Kuruharan 02-08-2006 02:43 PM

I can't resist this

They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a pack in the meadow;
Their days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
Who shall gather the votes of the evicted departing,
Or behold the evictees as they are cast to the Sea never returning?

Eomer of the Rohirrim 02-08-2006 03:49 PM

I come in this hour, invited by a prophet most wise, to save you people from yourselves!

Save the Wargs! For they are our betters. Do you people not realise that if we kill the Wargs, then we kill ourselves? For in the Wargs lie the keys to truth itself, and the very hope of Man. Many of you require further reading.

++BELLADONNA TOOK

A necessary sacrifice.

Lalaith 02-08-2006 04:07 PM

Warg - 6
Bella - 5
Elrond -1

So, we are down to this:

Holbytlass 02-08-2006 04:28 PM

I was wondering when someone would alert Eomer to this days voting...
but Mormegil! OUCH! A dagger to my heart. What does that say about Mrs. Morm?! I can confirm she is most fair, a beautiful creature, so Morm must have had blinders on the day he met her.

Eomer of the Rohirrim 02-08-2006 04:35 PM

Hollywood and propoganda. Buy not into it.

Garin 02-08-2006 04:39 PM

++BELLADONNA TOOK Does not belong here.

Celuien 02-08-2006 04:51 PM

++BELLADONNA TOOK

Hopefully for the last time.

SamwiseGamgee 02-08-2006 04:56 PM

The Wargs must be defended!

++BELLADONNA TOOK

++belladona Took
For The Eagle Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mormegil 02-08-2006 05:17 PM

This is great! It appears that it's going to be a landslide. You shouldn't have messed with the Warg so early. I'm no great fan but he should stay and now you incurred the wrath of those fan boys :D

Elu Ancalime 02-08-2006 06:23 PM

++Bombur

The true binger of Gwaihir.

Do all of ye enjoy this game?

Well if it wernt for Belladonna Took, this game wouldnt be here, because there would be no Bilbo, and no The Hobbit, or a hole in the ground for him to live in, then no Survivor.

Wouldnt that be like....killing your mother? Ok, definatly bad analogy, but ill think of something....

But I must say, Chief Warg and Belladonna Took do make an interesting 'couple,' if you remember their hostile competition on America's Next Top Model. I think Tyra Banks just wanted a hobbit to win. :p

Oh Ang!

What have you done? :(

You have unleashed a Wargish storm that threatens to consume this thread and wipe out all but one contestant. :eek:

You should never invoke forces that you cannot control ... :rolleyes:

Lalaith 02-09-2006 05:43 AM

I fear it is so, Saucie - chaos is come again.
With apologies to the Swan of Avon:

..Gwahir's spirit, ranging for revenge,
With the Master by his side, hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with Anguirel's voice
Cry 'havoc' and let slip the wargs of war.

The island is doomed. :(

Tuor of Gondolin 02-09-2006 07:03 AM

Hearing of the outrageous misogenous voting
against Belladonna an interested viewer
(who happened at the time to be reading
Medeline's Rescue ) called in to say:

Quote:

Luthien jumped on a chair.
"Anti-Belladonna's," she cried, "beware!
"Miss Took, noblest hobbit in the Shire,
"You shall have your VEN-GE-ANCE!"
(So, okay, it
doesn't exactly rhyme now). :p

And she pointed out that a great relative, Bandobras Took,
slayer of evil creatures, yet survived!

Not a great fan but a secret admirer? :p ;)

Oh, this looks like the end for Bella! I'll remember this! And things will get very interesting when closer to the end.

Tuor of Gondolin 02-09-2006 08:12 AM

There could be an interesting mini-Gotterdamerung
(or whatever) if now two cliques of Survivors form.
A---A well-rested Smaug, and a Chief Warg (boo!)
B---A vengeance-thirsting Bullroarer, the three dwarves (yawn),
and Elrond,

with William being the wild card. Would he join forces
with a burrahobbit or be junior in a real
axis of evil?

Btw, how have three dwarves survived so long?
perhaps by having others do the dirty work, as
they did with their burrahobbit.

Anguirel 02-09-2006 08:16 AM

Don't worry, Tuor. Once this feud is settled, I shall return to Dwarf-whittling.

JennyHallu 02-09-2006 08:22 AM

If I have multiple personalities, can I vote twice?

The Warg must GO!!!

Lalaith 02-09-2006 08:44 AM

Quote:

I shall return to Dwarf-whittling
And if you think you're getting any help from me after the way you've behaved, think again.
Warg-lovers are not the only ones who can wreak revenge, hold a grudge or indeed bastardise poetry quotes.

And have they fixed the where and when, and shall Belladonna die?
There's twenty thousand Tooklanders shall know the reason why!

Anguirel 02-09-2006 09:13 AM

Ah, Lalaith, you brand me traitor but by your hand Gwaihir fell...

He slew our father King Lot, therefore I will slay him, said Sir Gawaine, with a sword that was sent me that is passing trenchant.

It's amazing how literary this game is becoming...

Lalaith 02-09-2006 09:21 AM

I slew the bird, with a heavy heart, to save the lady. Gawain would have done the same and you know it.
