lol, I must not be clear either. I also said that his dropping of those consonants I felt was stylistic because it was simpler and more...not uneducated...but...rustic isn't quite the right word either. It just seemed to fit with how hobbits would have perhaps sung a song, paying great attention to some details, but leaving some of the rules in the dust. *shrug* I dunno if that makes sense, nor do I know if that was the intention, but that is what I thought when I heard it. I thought his consonants were supposed to be lost in the choir...at least in some of the choirs I have sung in, we've done things like that because it is more fitting to what we are singing about or the style of the music. (In this case, what they are singing about) Although this probably is more confusing and I'm dwelling on some silly nitpicky point that only musicians would probably argue about...lol, I hope I've better stated myself.
