Nothing happened on my birthday (June 11) but three days later Elladan and Elrohir met Arwen and her father in the woods and rode with them to meet King Elessar. So, around my birthday is kind of sad. At least from an elf point of view.

My younger brother's birthday is a very sad day, if I recall. September 13th, 3019 (I think): Galadriel and Celeborn leave Middle Earth. I think I'm right about this stuff. *scratches head*

May 10th, but I don't think it's an exciting date in ME.

Closest to may 10th is may 8th: Eomer and Eowyn depart from Rohan with the sons of Elrond.

Denethor burned himself on a pyre on my birthday. *dances and cheers*

oh, and theoden is slain, the witch king breaks the gates of the city, the horns of the rohirrim are heard at cockcrow, the battle of the pelennor takes place, aragorn raises the standard of arwen, frodo and sam escape and begin their journey along the morgai, battle under the trees in mirkwood, thranduil repels the forces of dol guldor, and the second assault on lorien is made.

Nothing actually happends on my birthday but from whqt I can see, in the year 3018, the hobbits are still safe at home, Boromir is travelling to Rivendell, Gandalf is trapped on Orthanc and in 3019 King Theoden's funeral escort is on its way to Edoras.

He he! Me too Rochelle! All my hobbity friends now have no excuse for forgetting! [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] That as well as some other nasty things...
Ohh,and my dad is also born on the same day as the heir of Isiuldur himself. Aragorns THE MAN!

Well, that's the closest one to my birthday (May 17.). But if you take the year of my birth, (TA)1981 it gets quite sad: Náin I is slain by the balrog and Amroth and Nimrodel come apart. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]

On my B-day,Gandalf gains entrance into Edoras. Theoden commands him to go: 'take any horse, only be gone ere tomorrow is old.'

And it is two days away from Bilbo's and Frodo's B-day!
