Hahahaa. LOL. Pretty tough name you got there. My elven name is Vorlotwen.

The-Elf-Herself 06-22-2002 01:03 PM

My full elven name is Allinde Hendocale Palannólëiel. Allinde is a translation of my middle name, Hendocale is my title on another messageboard, and Palannólëiel is from name generator(and it actually translates completely into quenya).

NicktheOrc 06-25-2002 02:27 AM

Mine is Lintevasa.

Pallando 06-26-2002 12:47 PM

According to Barrow Down's Name Genorator, Here's mine:
Root- Carnëhyando
Masculine version- Carnëhyandoion
Feminine versions- Carnëhyandoiel, Carnëhyandoien, and Carnëhyandowen.

But the ACUAL full Quenyan name is:
Niere-Almare Laire -

I don't know the other version of my last name, though.

dragongirlG 06-26-2002 02:47 PM

My Elvish name is Sirithorëion. By the way, how do you pronounce it?

ArwenBaggins 07-02-2002 02:34 PM

Mr. Great Barrow-Wight Sir, what does
Barandagniriel
or
Barandagnirien
or
Barandagnirwen

mean?

*Varda* 07-02-2002 02:55 PM

My elven name is Vardathangiel. Quite neat really, when i shorten it i get Varda, who is also my favourite Queen of the Valar. So Varda's my nickname.

Apparently my real name (lindsay) translates to Linnende. Hm.

Daewen 07-16-2002 06:17 PM

Here's what mine said...

Dûraran
Another masculine version is:
Dûraranion
More feminine versions are:
Dûraraniel
Dûraranien
Dûraranwen

Nevfeniel 07-16-2002 08:51 PM

Keeper of the Feet of Melkor 08-30-2002 08:37 PM

Mine's Nuquernafangiel, its a bit much if you ask me.

maleliel 09-02-2002 02:22 PM

My name from the name generator is Nefostiel but apparently someones already using that in this forum, so I made up Maleliel out of the back of the Silmarillion.

Princess Noviel 09-02-2002 02:42 PM

My Elvish full name is Maltanoviel Ereleniel Luinefen. Of course, it already says that in my sig, but oh well. I just use Noviel though, becasuse it's shorter, and more of my human friends can pronounce it. I came and found my name on the Barrow Downs a long time ago and got Maltanoviel, but then they changed it and now it's Ereleniel, and I thought it was pretty too. So I just kind of mixed and matched, and found my last name too, and came up with this one. I love it!!

Melichus 09-02-2002 10:52 PM

It appears that I am either Menedacilion or Arlomeion, depending on whether or not I use my middle name.

Kithrèna Greenarrow Legolas 09-03-2002 12:56 AM

The Feminions wher:
Beleththondiel
Beleththondien
Beleththondwen

Alaggaeriel 09-03-2002 08:35 AM

The root of my Elvish name is Alaggaer, female version, Alaggaeriel. I don't know what it means though.

Robin Headstrong 09-03-2002 01:40 PM

Using my real name including my middle name, it's Donalph.
Without my middle name, it's Gorgoladh.
Using just my regular name it's Ascahrivë.
I have no idea what any of these names mean...

EDIT: Yay! I'm an Animated Skeleton now!

The root name suitable for feminine and masculine is:
Luinkal
Another masculine version is:
Luinkalion
More feminine versions are:
Luinkaliel
Luinkalien
Luinkalwen

I'm gonna go see if I can find out what that means.

Glorfinniel the Lost 09-06-2002 03:17 AM

Mine is Arkhelekwen, Noble maiden of ice.
Glorfinniel is actually the elvish translation for Goldilocks, Sams daughter.

Iargwath 09-06-2002 03:24 AM

Mine is Iargwath...But i havent a clue of its meaning really

Frieda 09-06-2002 10:08 AM

Using what my full name is in real life, I got this:
Thaliseregiel

If I put in my user name I'll probably get something else.

Eruwen 09-07-2002 02:11 PM

Well, using my whole name, I got Astaldotathrawen.

But my REAL Elvish name I got off of (I think) Ardalambion is Eruwen.

Aramacil 09-07-2002 03:34 PM

mine said:

The root name suitable for feminine and masculine is:
Quelleramba
Another masculine version is:
Quellerambaion
More feminine versions are:
Quellerambaiel
Quellerambaien

Quelleramba, I don't think that's a very sexy name, fortunaly I already have an elven name.

chewie lives 09-07-2002 09:52 PM

my elf name is Lossenannunien

Telwilyeil Greenleaf 09-09-2002 04:40 PM

Telwilyaiel is my elven name.....I like it...

Nimrothiel 11-26-2002 03:26 PM

When I put in my full name I got:

Menegroth,, other: Menegrothion

More feminine versions:
Menegrothiel
Menegrothien
Menegrothwen

When I put my first, middle, and last names in separately; I put the first feminine version of my first name, the second of my middle name, and the first masculine version of my last name. So my full (probably incorrect on my part) elven name is:

Tanlaithiel-Buleyulmaien-Ascathion.

(I just made up my own for my login name, mainly 'cause so many of my other ones were already used.)

Also, could someone tell me what any of my elven names mean?

Arwen Melian 11-26-2002 05:42 PM

My name(Arwen Melain) means : Arwen=noble lady? Melain=dear gift
