I think that the two idiot pigs (I think their names are Randy and Andy) should be in this. They're so stupid! I like Gonzo and Rizzo being Merry and Pippin, so I'm not sure who Randy and Andy should be. They do like to annoy Ms. Piggy though, so maybe they should be Celeborn and Haldir if Piggy's Galadriel.

Oooh! Remember the Spamella Anderson pig lady from The Muppet Show? She should be either Eowyn or Arwen, and Piggy should be the other. Then Piggy can get all jealous when she sees Kermit-agorn with Spamella.

Maybe Pepe the prawn (known as 'the shrimp guy') should be Boromir! "You should give me the ring, okay?" "It's a conspiracy, okay?" "I had this funky dream, okay?" "It is a gift, okay?" Then Faramir could be a normal guy, so it'll look really funny when Denethor says that he likes his seafood son over the human.

Elrond should definately be Sam the Eagle. "You must destroy the ring! It is the American Way!... Er... It is the Middlearthian Way!"

THe Swedish chef should be Sauron. His singing fruit could be nasgul. Gonzo could be sarumon and his chickens should be uruks.

Yes, Dr. Teeth should deffinately be Tom Bombadil! Janice could be Goldberry and Sweetums as Gimli?

Well we will most definitely have to find a role for Link Hogthrob! He was one of my most favorite characters. He can't be Legolas, but maybe he could be a very vain elf at the Council of Elrond?

Of course Miss Piggy would be Arwen. And if she wasn't cast so, all Udun would break lose. I think Gonzo would be...hmmm...I've forgotten already. However, Burt and Ernie would be Merry and Pippin. Bert=Merry, and Ernie=Pippin, of course.

yes, i am well aware that he is not a muppet, this idea came to me in the middle of the night. but there is an explanation: to me, bomabadil is the most random character in the book, thus explaining the grinch. & the rhyming? well, it's dr. seuss, all those people do is rhyme!

If anyone has said these I'm sorry, but I think Animal should be Gollum, Gonzo is Pippin, that ditzy blonde girl in the band should be Galadriel, someone said Sweetums as the Balrog and I totally agree, and Clueless Morgan the goat should be himself just because he's funny.

Interesting...does anyone have any time on their hands? Because I've found I don't. :(

It'd be great if we could make a tally: Miss Piggy gets so many votes to be Arwen, and so many to be Galadriel; Kermit gets so many to be Aragorn and so many to be Frodo etc.

And if anyone has any new ideas...keep them coming. :D
