I is for Ironfoot. The surname of King Dáin II.

J is for Jools (original Tolkein spelling look in the Hobbit) Jools were greatly sough afteby the Dwarves. They loved the treasures of the earth and sought after them greatly.

K is for Khazad-dûm. It's situated in the central regions of the Misty Mountains and was founded by Durin. After the dwarves had left it it was called Moria. The attempt of Balin to reclaim it failed and later, the fellowship crossed it and lost Gandalf who fought a Balrog.

L is for Longbeards The longbeards were an acient tribe of Dwarves that lived in the north. They were reportedly decended from Durin.

M is for Moria, the alternative name for Khazad-dum

N is for Nain Ironfoot Father of Dain Ironfoot King under the mountain. He led the dwarves in the battle Of Azanubizar and was slain by azog the orc there also.

O for Olorin Gandalf's real name, given to him in the West in his youth.
|
P is for the Petty-dwarves, diminished in stature and smith-craft.
|
Q is for the Quest of Erebor, the quest to recover the Lonely Mountain. Thorin Oakenshield, his dwarves, Bilbo and Gandalf successfully reclaimed Erebor from the Dragon Smaug.

I is for Incánus, the name given to Gandalf in Harad. (Hah! Bet you thought I was gonna say "Isildur".)

T is for Telchar, the renowned dwarf smith who forged Narsil and Angrist.

W is for West-Gate of Moria. The western entrance to Moria, in which the dwarves did trading with the elves.

OK, here we go: A is for Alatáriel, an ancient form of the name Galadriel. |
B as in Belthil, the name of the tree Turgon made in the image of Telperion in Gondolin.

C is for Celeborn, Lord of Lórien and husband of Galadriel.

D is for Daeron. The loremaster of Doriath.
|
E is for Eregion, the Land of the Noldorin Elven Smiths. They were the master craftsmen of the House of Fëanor, led by his descendent, Celebrimbor.

F is for Forochel The Icy cold area north on the Shire where at Arveduis time still dwelt a remnant of the Forodwaith. Also know as Lossoth, the Snowmen of Forochel, who tried to help the king in his shipwreck, but in vain.

G is for Gil-galad, the last High King of the Noldor. He formed an alliance with Elendil, the "Last Alliance of Elves and Men" to defeat Sauron. The alliance succeeded, but Gil-galad died in the war.

H is for Haldir, son of Halmir of Brethil; wedded to Gloredhel daughter of Hador of Dor-lomin; slain in Nirnaeth Arnoediad

I is for Iarwain Ben-adar, the dude with yellow boots.

J is for J.R.R. Tolkein Translator of the redbook of wstmarch. Translator if Sindarin, Quenya Khuzdul, Black-Speech etc. etc. (really do I need an explanation?)

K is for Kirinki, small scarlet-plumaged birds of Numenor. Hahah kirinki is such a funny word... i couldn't resist.

L is for Lindir. The Elf of Rivendell that in a sweet way teased Bilbo, for his love of his own verses...

N is for the Noldor, which means "Those with knowledge": They were the Elves who followed Finwe to Aman. They are also called the "Deep Elves".

O is for Orgaladhad. The day of the Two Trees(Telperion and Laurelin), in the Sindarin week.

P is for Peredhil, a title of Elrond which means "Half-Elven"
