I assume she means the most votes, but may the mod goddess correct me (but hopefully not smite me) if I'm wrong.

Diamond18 10-27-2008 09:28 AM

I meant most votes. IE if Agan has 3 votes and Mac has 3 but Agan got 3 first, she dies.

And I only use those two as an example because they've been the most active today. :p

And to vaguely answer questions raised in the game thread -- yes, the nights' happenings will gradually reveal what all roles there are and such. But I do feel moved to note that there are no "Werewolves." This is a "Lovers" game. :p

Eönwë 10-28-2008 12:04 AM

I thought DL was in half an hour! :(Missed it.

Diamond18 10-28-2008 10:39 PM

Day 2 has begun an hour early because I want to go to bed. Now.

*rises from the dead to briefly guilt-trip lovers*
Arrgh....it happened again!! A very rare chance to play WW and I get killed on the first night! Arrggh!!!
*sinks back into grave, moaning softly*

Nogrod 10-30-2008 03:58 AM

Sorry guys, I woke up too late to have time to vote as I had to run to work.

It seems my game is just one big apology...

Eönwë 10-30-2008 05:18 AM

A message from beyond the grave...

Murderers!

On the other hand, I did have a very strange dream...
Seemingly I was afraid of Kitanna voting me.

Anyway, I only posted 4 times on Day 2 ( due to time constraints)

Diamond18 10-31-2008 12:46 PM

Just a note. There's a chance I will be late getting home from work tonight, in which case I won't be around at the exact deadline. I should be home no more than half an hour late -- but if I am, all votes up until I appear to close the Day will count. Just don't count on that, as I may in fact get home in plenty of time to end at 1 AM.

satansaloser2005 10-31-2008 12:52 PM

Okay, so here's what's going on. Our call for the Haunted House was supposed to be closer to 7pm, but it's now at 6pm, which is right after I get off work. After it's over we're striking everything which will probably last past the deadline. So I'll probably be a woman of very few words toDay, as I know I won't have time to put together any long posts. Just so you all know I'm not avoiding you or anything, or that I'm intentionally being submarine-ish.

Anyway, have to head out to work. Will post when/what I can. Oh, and Happy Halloween!!!!! ;)

So. November 2nd marks the end of Daylight Savings time here in the good ol' US of A. I'm not sure when it happens, I think it's usually 2 in the morning... which for me is an hour after the deadline. So it shouldn't be affecting the start of Day 4, but it will affect the end, depending on where you are. I don't know what's going on in Europe, if any tinkering with clocks is occurring. But here my clock will be turned back an hour. Right now I am exhausted and can barely see my computer screen, so forgive me for not being able to tell you if the deadline's going to be an hour sooner or later or what have you. I know that currently my timezone is GMT -5 and I do believe that after the change it'll be GMT -6.

Shastanis Althreduin 11-03-2008 02:05 AM

Daylight savings totally messed me up, guys. Really sorry for not showing up :(.

Brinniel 11-05-2008 05:44 PM

My laptop completely died today (how sad :( ) and I'm going to need to buy a new one. Which means for the next few days I'm solely relying on libraries and computer labs for any computer access. So I apologise ahead that I won't be around much during the Day, and not at all around deadline hours.

Oh no! :( (Sidenote: what kind did you have, and what kind are you getting?)

Don't worry about it, love. We understand. Hope everything works out okay computerwise. :)

I had an HP Pavilion. I loved it a lot, but I must've gotten one from a bad batch because it's been causing me many different issues since I bought it. I'll probably buy another HP, but I'm not exactly sure just yet.

Gwathagor 11-05-2008 06:24 PM

I've had good luck with my IBM ThinkPad - and I'm a demon with a trackpoint cursor now.

Don't spend your dough on that! Get a Mac! Way better performance, unless you're in to something specific not made for Macs.

Gwathagor 11-05-2008 06:27 PM

$$$$$, Gollum. $$$$$

Heh, everyone at my school has a Mac. I know how to use them since my school has a lot of them (for programs like ProTools and Avid), but I've never been as comfortable using them. I don't know why. It's a personal preference thing.

Anyway, I think we're straying off topic just a tad. ;)

Diamond18 11-05-2008 07:38 PM

Macs all the way!

Also, I added a picture link to Eomer and Fea's pseudo-death narration.

Brinniel 11-05-2008 09:41 PM

Di, you can't forget about this one. It's only one of my favourite sculptures. :)

Diamond18 11-05-2008 09:58 PM

Didn't seem to fit the narration... though I could have inserted something about them spontaneously making out, I suppose.... :p

Feanor of the Peredhil 11-05-2008 10:08 PM

Oh my, that's one mighty feel being copped...

Diamond18 11-05-2008 10:23 PM

All images of Cupid and Psyche involve either nakedness or groping. In many cases, both. Theirs was not a chaste love.

Diamond18 11-05-2008 10:32 PM

PS the day is starting early because I want to go to bed. You know. The usual.

Great job. They actually resemble Fea and Eomer enough so that if I had been shown the pic and told to tell which players were Cupid and Psyche, I would probably have said them. ;)

Feanor of the Peredhil 11-06-2008 08:49 PM

Oh, if only I could comment...
