No one has mentioned Annunimas, or Evendim.

Or the Tower Hills.

Forlindon and Harlindon would be my elvish choices (after Rivendell; Lothlorien would be good but doesn't quite seem practical for a mortal to invite themselves to.)

Edhellond, in an earlier age, although constantly standing on the pier and waving goodbye would get old after a while.

The Ered Luin always used to call to me, not for any dwarvish reasons, but for the elvish mysterious not-on-the-map feeling I got when I looked at the "empty" mountains. Would you hear singing echoing from the trees? Hmmm.

You know, the most charming spot in Middle earth (to me) was The Old Forest. Arching willow trees, babbling stream, house of Bombadil...
However, it is obviously not the place I'd label as a 'paradise'. That would be Aman (the whole of it) or Lothlórien or Rivendell.

Even when they tease you? :p I'd hate to encounter a tra-la-la-lally sort who does that :(

I think that ME as a whole is a paradise. The reason: paradise=perfect place of extreme beauty, delight, or happiness. Nothing is perfect, or complete, without a bit of everything on it. That would turn out a bit hard to paint, though!;)

Haha. That's what I meant. Otherwise it wouldn't live up to Tolkien's stuff ;)

What about Nisimaldar, on Numenor. An entire forest where all the trees are not only gorgeos but all smell fragrant, not just the flowers, but the leaves, the bark, all of it. It must be absoultely incredible (I have heard that there are places in India and the rest of Asia where there are forests where the dominant tree species are varities of cinnamon. That's how I imagine Nisimaldar). Plus delights for your ears (like the piping song of the kiriniki) and even your tastebuds (when the yavannamire trees are in fruit). I don't about you but that place sounds like paradise to me.
