Brinniel 10-23-2007 12:44 AM

I'm still here and ready to play.

Are we going to have less wolves due to our small number of players?

Thinlómien 10-23-2007 05:49 AM

*waves*

Volo 10-23-2007 08:11 AM

Shastanis Althreduin 10-23-2007 09:51 PM

Awake and breathing.

Gil-Galad 10-23-2007 10:06 PM

i was thinking of having only 2 wolves... yeah i can see that...that will leave with 4 innocents i beleive...

xyzzy 10-25-2007 03:27 PM

I'm still here. :)

Yay, starting.

Gil-Galad 10-25-2007 10:27 PM

Alright we'll have two wolves, but the special rule if the villain gets lynched(depending when in game) that gives the bodyguard a double ability will be suspended

sending out roles now... and i will hopefully start the game tomorrow day...

Macalaure 10-26-2007 08:49 AM

Oops! I forgot to check in. :o

Anyway, about my occupation, I'd like to be a student movement leader.

Gil-Galad 10-26-2007 09:21 AM

looking over my schedule, this saturday i will be attending a masqurade ball so i can't guarantee a deadline... but the game will either start sat at 10 PM mountain time or sunday 10 AM mountain time.

Could you please transcribe it to some... more generally known time? I think it's GMT -7 but I am not sure...

I believe with DST it's -6.

16:00 GMT.

Gil-Galad 10-27-2007 11:06 AM

oh and Xyzzy your PM box is full...

I have fixed this. :)

Brinniel 10-28-2007 03:59 PM

So....when are we starting?

And will it be with a Day or Night phase?

Gil-Galad 10-28-2007 08:11 PM

we will begin in roughly 2 hours with a night phase, and the first day will start with yours truly being the default kill so the henchman and specials can talk to each other and get a game plan going

Thinlómien 10-29-2007 08:28 AM

Just to inform everybody

The deadline is 7am my time, so I will probably be voting 8 or 9 hours before the deadline every day... So don't wonder if my votes are very early...

Thinlómien 10-29-2007 08:41 AM

I forgot about the ending of the DST. The deadline is actually 6am my time, but it still means very early votes from me...

Gil-Galad 10-29-2007 09:35 AM

the GMT is -6 for anyone wondering

You are not the only one who will be doing that. There's no way I'm going to wake up and mess around at 6 in the morning, still half asleep trying to decipher what happened during (my) night.

And I believe there's more of us... so whoever wants to make the last minute mayhems, I daresay the Europeans probably are not participating :p It's for everyone to choose whether it's for good or bad for the rest...:Merisu:

Brinniel 10-29-2007 11:31 AM

Wait...I'm really confused. Are we only doing 12 hour Days/Nights? If so, my participation may be limited...

I hope not.

Gil, maybe you should make some brief, easily accessible and transparent table of the main rules, saying the final word about when the deadline is, what are the objectives for everyone etc. Looks that with the slow beginning and the confusion around, along with the constant changes with the postponing the start of the game, many things are quite hazy.

Nogrod 10-29-2007 02:25 PM

I do agree with Legate here.

Although my optimistic view is that Gil only started the game in advance (the first Night was only twelve hours) but from now on we will have 24-hour cycles. *thumbs up*

I mean: I'm not going to vote within 1½ hours before I go to sleep as I will trust that the Day lasts 24 hours (otherwise the deadline would be 6AM to which I'm not going to wake up to read and vote before it).

Gil-Galad 10-29-2007 09:52 PM

alright i can make it 24 hours... thanks for making me get up early tomorrow...

Shastanis Althreduin 10-30-2007 12:08 PM

Really, guys, what is this, three games in a row now?

If it makes you happy, I'll never make another in-character post.

Honestly, I expected better.

At least I posted. I was really looking forward to this game, and to be executed first (for the third time in a row) because of a prior commitment really stinks.

i know how it feels, my first WW game i was bandwagoned on by Mormegil, and Morm didn't mean too, he just asked me a question and everyone voted me. so don't feel too sad.

Gil-Galad 11-01-2007 09:29 AM

alright i've been getting questions

rule about players who don't post in two days in a row:
this a hard rule because with such a small number of players it could greatly out balance the game... but i am for it.

whether the villain counts as a henchman or as a villager in the final counts?:
the Villain counts as a villager. the only thing the villain is there is too help the henchman win like a cobbler.

Volo 11-01-2007 09:31 AM

What about henchman doublekills?

Gil-Galad 11-01-2007 09:35 AM

If the Henchman kill their villain during the night, they lose there next kill next night. then the night after that they get a double kill. but with low numbers i am suspending the double kill and the bodyguards dual duties. but if the villain gets killed by henchman they still lose the next night. If the Villain is lynched the Henchman still can kill, but the bodyguard gets a double protection bonus for that.

makes sense?
